Biogen Associate Director HEOR -MS, Global V&A in Cambridge, Massachusetts
About This Role In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing Global Value & Access’ Healthcare Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and evidence generation strategies and tactics for our MS in-market and pipeline assets, and support for cross-functional clinical trial planning of our MS pipeline assets. You will work closely with global, regional, and local members of the Value & Access team and other key functions (such as Medical, R&D) to achieve HEOR and evidence generation goals, including our payer value story development, economic model development, publication planning and execution. * * What You’ll Do · Lead and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to develop and execute the overall payer value and evidence generation strategies and tactics across MS products · Lead research projects to generate, publish, and communicate HEOR evidence to support our payer value story and pricing, reimbursement, and market access · Develop and deliver high quality market access tools for local market access affiliates · Effectively communicate and train regional and local market access affiliates on payer value story, HEOR evidence, tools, models · Provide support to regional and local market access affiliates for health technology assessment (HTA)/dossier submission needs and model adaptations · Provide effective product launch and re-assessment support to regional and local market access affiliates · Work jointly with R&D to integrate payer needs into a clinical development plan, such as selecting and/or developing endpoints/Patient-Reported Outcomes, and manage HEOR aspects of studies Who You Are You love leading to develop and execute HEOR and evidence generation strategies and tactics with a sense of urgency through internal and external collaboration to support our product value story. You love being a part of our collaborative team to have significant impact through supporting regional and local market access affiliates. * * * #LI-JH1 * * *Required Skills * Proficient leadership, influencing, strategic planning, decision making and problem solving skills * Proficient HEOR technical skills, including modeling (cost-effectiveness and budget impact), patient-reported outcomes analyses, and conducting real-world outcomes studies * Strong written and verbal communication to effectively convey strategic and technical Value & Access information/issues to key stakeholders * Demonstrates ability to build relationships, collaboration, and teamwork across functions * Strong understanding of payer environment, both US and globally, including coverage and reimbursement, value drivers, formulary management, HTA, and health policy * Experienced in supporting pricing and reimbursement negotiations with payers * Understanding of pharmaceutical product development and/or commercialization * Sense of urgency and delivery orientation * Effective project management skills * Willingness to travel up to 20% Preferred Skills · 5+ years of relevant HEOR industry experience · Masters and/or relevant doctorate (such as PhD, PharmD) in HEOR discipline All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
