ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, EMPLOYER RELATIONS, Sloan School of Management-Master of Business Analytics (MBAn) Program, to proactively develop, deepen, manage, and expand employer relationships with companies/organizations that are actively recruiting talent at the MBAn Program. Will be responsible for developing and managing the efforts of an extensive program recruiting for major domestic and international firms to best maintain the Analytics Capstone pipeline of corporate sponsors. This involves advising on recruiting strategy, leading and organizing recruitment efforts, program development, and employer visits. Will plan, schedule, and ensure companies' prerecruiting events, presentations, career fairs, and on-campus interviews run smoothly and meet the needs of highly engaged students and employers; and be involved with planning and executing company recruiting events throughout the year, including Analytics Networking Night, West Coast Trek, and other relevant events.A full job description is available at http://web.mit.edu/sloan-hr/jobs/ADEmployerRelationsMBAn.pdf.
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least five years’ professional work experience; professional experience in career development and/or corporate recruiting; industry services experience, with professional work experience that included a client- or customer-facing role, ideally in a university or corporation in a related function; strong collaboration and communication skills; comfort presenting to large and small groups, both in-person and online; ability to think strategically, manage projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines; self-motivation; and an appreciation for Sloan’s mission “to develop principled, innovative leaders to improve the world and to generate ideas that advance management practice.” Seek a team player with a focus on impact with both student and team success and a desire to innovate, continuously learn, and experiment. PREFERRED: master’s degree in a related field and knowledge of the tech, AI, analytics, and data science industries.
