The ACD, Design role opportunity puts you at the center of concepting, user experience mapping, design and execution of all our digital experiences spanning advertising, web, email, video, brand development and social media. You?ll be counted on to be a multi-channel design guru, an effective marketing strategist, and an original thinker. You'll also be a manager, mentor and partner to designers and writers whose experience runs from junior to veteran. And excel at managing multiple projects with overlapping deadlines. Core Responsibilities ? Lead a team of designers and writers including providing direction, motivation and organization ? Create brand stories that get people excited ? Translate marketing objectives into powerful, branded digital experiences ? Build on our brand guidelines to sharpen and further differentiate our positioning and story ? Hands on creation of assets from Facebook ads to site experiences to emails to content for our social channels and obsess over it all ? Create a process for getting it all done ? Keep tabs on comparative competitive brands in the market ? Stay current on design trends and best practices in ecommerce Requirements ? Excellent conceptual and design skills (including a sharp eye for all things UX) ? Strong portfolio ? Strong understanding of direct marketing principles ? Keen sense of humor ? Ecommerce and lifestyle brand experience ? 9+ years as a designer, with agency experience a huge plus ? Passion for getting in the weeds to design, solve problems and get awesome ideas produced ? Highly motivated, self-starter ? A passion (and 5+ years? experience) for mentoring and guiding other creatives ? Ability to provide spot-on strategic direction ?
