Additional Qualifications and Skills:

Experience developing online content and programs as well as working in international business or academic setting preferred.
Fluency in one foreign language preferred.
Experience working in cross-functional teams.
Ability to exercise leadership in support of the school’s mission and the department’s long-term plans.
Able to travel, both domestic and international.
Knowledge of Harvard University, Harvard Kennedy School, and its Executive Education programs a plus.

Salary Range: $69,100 - $116,100
Note: Starting salaries typically fall in the lower half of the salary range; however, they are ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity.

Executive Education programs that meet public sector demand and leverage faculty strengths to meet the mission and priorities of Harvard Kennedy School.
Open Enrollment and Custom Program Development
With guidance from the Executive Director, lead the design and development of one to two new open enrollment programs annually--online and on campus--in new leadership and policy areas. Lead program launch team, undertake market research, collaborate with EE marketing to design and implement market engagement campaign, establish relations with key organizational accounts to support program launch, work closely with faculty on program content and design, and work with Harvard-wide resources in instructional design and technology to ensure innovative and cutting-edge course architecture and pedagogical design.
Lead the development of three to five new custom programs annually for domestic and international clients to meet key Executive Education goals. Cultivate qualified leads, understand and refine client needs, develop proposals/budgets, collaborate with faculty on content and design, and conduct negotiations and conclude contracts with client organizations per university guidelines.
Work closely with EE Marketing on the market engagement and outreach for new program launches and with the Program Management team to achieve a smooth transition of open enrollment and custom programs from the development to the delivery stage.
Create and leverage collaborative relationships with HKS faculty, HKS Research Centers and Programs, and university-wide resources in instructional design and technology toward the development of new Executive Education courses.
Develop familiarity with overall EE programs.
New Market Development
Maintain strong ties to key institutional partners and develop new institutional relationships in critical markets.
Assess new market opportunities—undertake market analyses for market expansion or new market development.
Maintain strong alumni connections to support market development
