ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, IMPACT AND REUNION GIVING, Sloan School of Management-Office of External Relations, to execute best fundraising practices, prioritizing donor retention and acquisition, Will manage prospects/programs with the objective of cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors and prospects with the capacity of making gifts to MIT. The portfolio includes 600 donors with the capacity of $500-$10,000 annually. Will prepare timely, complete deliverables; complete 50-100 prospect meetings annually, achieving progressive revenue targets in line with goals established in consultation with the manager; identify, recruit, train, and solicit reunion fundraising volunteers; provide information/support on an ongoing basis to drive revenue; work with stakeholders to develop fundraising strategies and achieve dollar and participation goals; help lead a successful reunion fundraising program through best volunteer-management practices; foster a collaborative environment with stakeholders to ensure coordinated prospect-management approach; partner with colleagues to ensure coordinated direct marketing efforts and successful mass-communications; leverage giving days and loyalty giving; and staff all on-campus high-profile events, travel to regional events, and meet with alumni visiting campus. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor's degree and at least three years’ relevant experience, and ability to work effectively, both from home and on campus. PREFERRED: ability to work independently and collaboratively as a part of a team; good judgment, diplomacy, discretion, and interpersonal skills for interacting with high-profile individuals; ability to become familiar with and successfully articulate Sloan’s mission, culture, academic programs, departmental objectives/priorities, and funding opportunities; ability to work effectively with potentially large benefactors; excellent communication and presentation skills; and willingness to be flexible and take on new projects as they arise.
