Google Account Manager, Emerging Business-to-Business Solutions, Large Customer Sales in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in digital marketing or digital media/advertising business.

  • Experience working and influencing cross-functional teams to support business and customer objectives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with Google Shopping, Google Merchant Center, and Google Search Ads.

  • Experience optimizing and troubleshooting products, data feeds, and services.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders.

  • Knowledge and understanding of B2B eCommerce advertising.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity, change, and moving timelines.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As an Account Manager, you will drive advertiser success with new Business-to-Business (B2B) commerce solutions, and sustainable B2B advertisement business growth. You will directly engage strategic accounts, manage onboarding, and troubleshoot workstreams to support them. Additionally, you will manage at-scale programs and resources through various sales channels that drive adoption and success across the industry.

In this role, you will work closely with all Google Ads sales channels and cross-functional stakeholders across Business Development, Engineering, Product, UX Research, and Marketing.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

  • Manage the onboarding of merchants’ products to Google’s commerce platforms by providing guidance and expertise.

  • Drive adoption of new B2B advertising solutions and provide product expertise, quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to customers, manage objections, and evaluate campaign effectiveness.

  • Manage operations within the sales team, prioritize and execute complex initiatives, and ensure accountability towards team goals.

  • Build and deliver resources and training that scales across sales teams.

  • Build project plans, oversee data integration, and provide support so that merchants are able to showcase their full product catalogs on Google.
