We are looking for a Senior Marketing Programs Manager to creatively and continuously improve the way we do B2B demand generation campaigns. This role will be responsible for producing integrated campaigns and associated tactics to grow lead acquisition in support of the Dragon Professional business. We need you to understand the right types of content to send to the right people at the right time to deliver top-of-funnel leads, ensure campaign success, and ultimately support overall marketing and sales goals.
The ideal candidate has a passion for understanding and speaking to the needs of the target market through compelling solution "stories". In addition, he or she is able to combine those skills with strong critical thinking and qualitative analysis in order to scrutinize findings and make timely, educated recommendations for maximizing results. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic results-driven, highly visible team that feeds essential pipeline and sales opportunities to the Dragon Professional business.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Effectively plan, execute, and measure traditional and online marketing programs (e.g. webinars, email, direct mail, etc.) to meet or exceed lead and pipeline objectives
Manage multiple projects and campaigns at a time, ensuring clear and proactive communication and follow up with other departments and 3rd parties to meet deadlines and stay within budget
Continuously monitor campaign activity and results and make proactive course-corrections to ensure that all initiatives are performing to expectations
Execute on industry events and trade shows including logistics; augment booth staff as required
Develop, produce and star in webinars
Stay current on product features, benefits and be able to communicate clearly to the market
Ensure leads generated by programs are properly assigned and handed off into the pre/post-event lead qualification process
Proven ability to work with Sales personnel including Sales Management
Establishes and evaluates metrics and performance benchmarks for programs and campaigns
Weekly reporting on program effectiveness, pipeline growth and demand waterfall conversion
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education: BA/BS degree in marketing, communication, business management or equivalent working experience
Minimum years of work experience: Minimum of 12 years’ experience in a demand/lead generation or other marketing role with a technology company
Excellent written and verbal communications skills; adept at building and maintaining strong cross-functional working relationships
Collaborative attitude, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to take on new challenges head on with can-do attitude
Great attention to detail, organized and ability to prioritize
Experience using CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.com
Adept at embracing and utilizing technology
Hands-on experience with marketing automation systems (Eloqua) or similar / or an email marketing platform is a requirement
Ability / willingness to travel (15-25%)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
