Senior Manager of Emerging Media & Technology is responsible for driving change and helping KDP gain a first mover advantage by setting the emerging media and technology agenda for our brands. This person will succeed with a challenger mindset who understands how to leverage emerging media and technology to become a modern marketer. We are looking for a media technology game changer.

Specifically, they are charged with staying immersed in media trends, identifying new and innovative ways to elevate our media plans, and delivering a future consumer technology roadmap for the marketing organization. This person will have the ability to activate across all key KDP brands, including iconic franchises such as Dr Pepper, Keurig, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and Snapple and will report into the VP of Media. The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of media or technology experience with the majority focused on innovation


Develop a deep knowledge base of key innovations impacting technology and media at KDP

  • Collaborate with agencies, vendors, and industry experts to grow KDP’s understanding of the future landscape for potential innovation

  • Act as subject matter expert within KDP marketing for emerging technology & media opportunities with a specific focus on the areas that could be potentially beneficial to our business.

  • Create and maintain a knowledge base for the organization to utilize as it considers emerging media & technology.

  • Lead trainings with marketing capabilities teams to help keep KDP marketers on the forefront of what is new and coming.

    Build and maintain the emerging technology & media strategy

  • Create a strategy to determine how KDP will utilize emerging media & technology to deliver against our marketing objectives.

  • Build an evolving testing roadmap to establish which tests will be executed, including an understanding of budgets needed for all testing.

  • Communicate that testing roadmap, rallying the organization around key areas to test into; based on clear briefs and objectives

  • Collaborate with brand, media, and creative teams to determine key priorities and align organization priorities with potential innovation approaches.

    Plan and execute testing

  • Manage the overall approach to testing across the various brands, ultimately determining the right brands and product to execute media or technology innovation tests.

  • Project manage all aspects of testing from conceptualization through execution. Utilizing cross-functional influence to ensure strong test design and execution.

  • Define and manage budget for all aspects of tests.

    Measure Success

  • Determine KPIs for all aspects of the technology and media innovation plan. Defining what success looks like for all new innovation plans.

  • Leverage deep understanding of technology and media measurement techniques to measure all aspects of testing & scale up plans.

  • Partner with KDP’s media, analytics and data sciences teams to build measurement plans and tracking methodologies across all media & technology innovation.

  • Develop and oversee adherence to QA procedures, launch processes, and campaign reviews in order to build an efficient and effective measurement procedure.

    Scale media & technology innovation into base brand plans

  • Understand when innovation is ready for scaling into marketing plans and build process and protocols for potential scaling.

  • Partner with various teams including media, agencies, brand, consumer engagement, and creative to build innovation scaling into their plan focus.

  • Work with agile communications leads to introduce innovation scaling as a key metric for its success.

  • Analyze scaling success to determine the best way to build ramp up components into all technology and media innovation plans.

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree

  • 8+ years of digital media experience with 2+ years focuses on media & technology innovation.

  • Experience with media platforms across channels, with a specific emphasis on the evolving video landscape, digital marketing, and social media.

  • Strong working knowledge of buy side process and technologies including surveys, data collection, and verifications.

  • Strong analytical skills; ability analyze raw data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations

  • Highly organized and detailed-oriented with ability to manage your own agendas

  • Experience planning, managing and analyzing media campaigns exceeding budgets of $1MM

    • Experience working with cross functional partners to build alignment to strategies and plans.
  • This role may be based remotely in New York City or in our Burlington, MA or Frisco, TX headquarters.
