At Wellness Pet we are looking to build our in-house team with the addition of a Senior Graphic Designer that will be responsible for designing world-class packaging and award-winning PDP assets. The ideal candidate will be a passionate designer who can work across print and digital with a strong focus on packaging. To be successful in this role you must be strong conceptually and creatively, as well as a hands-on designer who is comfortable working with cross functional teams. This role is based in our Burlington, MA headquarters and reports to the Creative Director.
What You-ll Accomplish
Design compelling and innovative packaging to attract and inform the consumer and ultimately drive sales
Utilize problem-solving skills to develop creative packaging solutions
Adapt existing artwork for different products or to include new sizes or variations
Work with cross functional teams to process feedback, edit artwork and finalize files
Contribute technical and production related expertise to build and prepare packaging files for pre-press and printing in accordance with brand standards and vendor requirements
Produce packaging renders
Partner with our brand and e-commerce teams to create innovative brand-right PDP assets to entice the consumer and drive sales
Follow and maintain brand guidelines and design standards to ensure a consistent visual identity across different platforms and channels

Additionally, for this role, we are looking for someone who possesses:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in packaging and digital design.
A deep understanding of packaging construction, production, printing, and materials as well as various printing processes and techniques
A strong background designing state-of-the-art PDP assets for retailers that are brand-right and drive sales
The ability to multi-task and work thru challenges , adhere to assigned deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
Experience as well as a successful track record of working with cross-functional teams that include internal and external partners
Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop
