You will recruit, onboard, manage, and mentor a team of Business Development Consultants with a focus on building key inside sales skills including strategic prospecting, advanced lead qualification, objection handling, and first call meeting scheduling. Your team serves as the initial sales engagement to our potential new customers.

Your mission is to nurture and develop the next generation of successful sales professionals coaching them on sales process, executive soft skills, and product knowledge fundamentals in a collaborative environment.

In addition to driving a business development training program, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the team, holding weekly one-on-ones/team meetings with your direct reports, and developing creative incentive plans to keep the BDCs engaged/inspired throughout their tenure.

While tracking and monitoring individual and team metrics, you will drive the team towards collective lead generation quotas/goal, as well as execute in tandem with our marketing and sales leadership’s vision.

About You:

Strong background in SaaS sales and/or people management

Intelligent, motivated, and competitive with a “roll-up-the-sleeves” and “get the job done” mindset

Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills

A regular on your company’s top producer list and have the stats to back it up

Known for your tremendous work ethic, laser focus, and dedication

Passionate about mentoring emerging sales talent

Experience giving both positive and constructive feedback

Enjoy learning technology and can translate that into value for prospects + build repeatable sales frameworks for new rep success

Willingness to contribute to a thriving culture with a work-hard, play-hard attitude to keep results strong and morale high

Curious, insightful, and perceptive

Creative self-starter

BA or BS degree required
