Oracle Project Manager,Global Demand Generation in Burlington, Massachusetts

Coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like.

Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically seven years of project management, product design or related experience needed.

Oracle s Cloud Platform and Database marketing team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to work across all departments within the marketing group and is responsible for trafficking, managing and tracking the creation and production of new content for the platform website pages, email, digital, video, print and social materials used to market Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and products associated. The Project Manager maintains relationships with decision-makers across the product management, product marketing, creative and web publishing teams to have project transparency.

The Project Manager position will report directly to the VP, Global Demand Generation, and will work cross-functionally within the OCI Marketing team to manage the intake of new and existing projects.

*_Duties And Responsibilities

_*

  • Project management for intake of new, as well as, edited content and creative projects that are specific to OCI platform and database products launch.

  • Manage ongoing project management of content, digital, social and print campaigns, liaising with internal partners such as product management, programming, marketing, social, and product marketing

  • Fully coordinate project objectives and authorizations

  • Understand the creative process and how to represent the vision and execution of a creative brief.

  • Work with multiple departments throughout project development and implementation.

  • Manage, support and track projects with internal partners via project management tools.

  • Maintain communication with cross-departmental contacts.

  • Pursue, distribute and traffic assets to various internal departments.

  • Ensure meetings are scheduled, productive, and documented for future reference.

  • Develop timelines for projects and implement job requisitions with the product marketing and demand generation teams, working directly with project managers, product marketing managers, creative directors, writers, and production artists

  • Initiate and attend all meetings and other internal and external conference calls related to assigned projects

  • Independently manage several workflows simultaneously that will require the right candidate to be detail-oriented

  • Track project resources, scopes and risks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

*_Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Advertising preferred

  • 5-7 years of project or account management experience, preferably with agency experience

  • Must have a proven track record of successfully managing detail-oriented projects.

  • Extensive experience in asset trafficking processes

  • Strong project management, organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills

  • Identify project risks early and implement action plans to mitigate or eliminate risks.
