At Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), we’re building a team that is charged with developing and executing our overall IoT strategy, including defining the connected brewer roadmap, implementing the enabling technology platforms to bring them to market, and pursuing the data monetization opportunities that connected products can deliver.

As a Product Owner in the Global Product Organization you will be responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team. The PO has a significant role in maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring Stories meet the user’s needs and comply with the Definition of Done. This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team, including working with Product Management, Customers, Business Owners, and other stakeholders.


  • Creates, aligns and communicates the roadmap for brew-related experiences in the Keurig mobile app, voice assistant capabilities and other software platforms while executing near-term brewer launch requirements

  • Partners with brewer product management, consumer insights, engineering, UX and other business stakeholders to formulate and articulate detailed product requirements to deploy new, value-adding brewer experiences

  • Balances market dynamics, personal experience and instinct with the use of empirical data and telemetry to inform recommendations and decisions, continuous product optimization and new feature development

  • Collaborates with the Keurig Experiences, Marketing and Consumer Insights teams to validate product and roadmap decisions as well as to provide insights for ongoing testing and optimization

  • Drives program increment planning by prioritizing solution-level requirements and managing feature delivery expectations by working with engineering, QA and PMO to plan sprints, write user stories, and test product features

  • Ideates on future, conceptual and analytical frameworks and operating models

  • Partners with system architects and PMO to constantly assess future design, resource and delivery considerations beyond current development activity

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies in the mobile app space

  • Develops and measures program KPIs and devises and implements experiments to find suitable solutions to enhance performance, feature engagement and user experience

  • Uses technical skills to understand and make trade-off decisions, challenge assumptions, business-as-usual ways of doing things and evaluate delivery risks


  • BS degree or equivalent practical experience, MS degree or MBA preferred

  • Familiarity with mobile app and voice assistant platform technologies and prior experience in architecting and building large scale consumer software products

  • Proven experience with agile/iterative software development methodologies e.g. Scrum, SAFe, etc.

  • Extensive experience working at the solution level with JIRA and Confluence in an Agile environment

  • Proven track record of using insights to prioritize and make decisions

  • Extensive experience collaborating with Marketing and UX teams to create wireframes, mockups and conceptual designs

  • Extensive experience providing sound, data-driven recommendations through the creation and testing of designs using high-fidelity prototypes

  • Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams, leaders and outside partners

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
