Program Management - Research Operations, Lead: Salesforce

This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Research and Insights, Operations and Program Management and will be responsible for leading Research Operations practice. We are looking for an individual who can collaborate and form strong partnerships across the Research & Insights team to develop, optimize and scale programs that support the impact of research on key parts of the business. A primary focus of this role will be leading and optimizing processes and programs that address both the strategic and tactical operational needs for the Research & Insights team that is rapidly growing in scope and size.

Job requirements:

  • Lead and manage the Research Operations initiatives

  • Collaborate with research leadership and peers to establish, implement, and communicate compelling processes and organizational operations to support efficiency and scale for the Research & Insights team

  • Lead and optimize end-to-end programs for engaging and delivering work to Product and Business team stakeholders, work prioritization/tracking, and performance monitoring

  • Lead the effort to standardize and automate customer engagement and onboarding processes, research enablement for researchers and user-centric teams

  • Develop and leverage repeatable tools, templates, process documentation, and communication plans for various programs and efforts

  • Ability to build trusting relationships, credibility, and strong communications skills to influence stakeholders, connect partners to improve project decision-making, which drives business value

  • Build strong partnerships with internal cross-functional teams, and external vendors/agencies

  • Comfortable working in the face of ambiguity, and able to solve immediate needs in balance with the long-term vision

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5-10 years minimum of relevant work experience in Operations Management or Program Management

  • Experience with successfully managing a large, diverse workload with conflicting deadlines and priorities; and experience having built and developed programs

  • Strong operational experience in identifying problems and developing solutions at scale to gain efficiencies and foster productivity

  • Strong project management and organizational skills; strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Ability to bring clarity and structure when managing fluid expectations and evolving demand

  • B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent work experience

  • Bonus: Experience working with research, analytics, or technical environments and experience with working with geographically-distributed teams
