Job Description Summary

The Surgical Visualization and Guidance segment of GE HealthCare Ultrasound is committed to designing active imaging systems that help surgeons visualize anatomy and lesions, guide interventions, and navigate inside the human body. Our mission is to change the standard of care in surgical interventions with real-time visual guidance, giving surgeons the information needed to immediately make critical decisions.

Job Description

As a product strategy manager, you will be leading and executing wide range of product strategy and business development activities for Surgical Visualization and Guidance Division’s robotic surgery portfolio. This individual will be responsible for driving upstream product marketing aspects, owning portfolio strategy, financial performance, and product lifecycle management. The other key responsibility will be identifying, defining, and managing strategic collaboration efforts with key robotic players to drive growth and global adoption of robotic solution.

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Lead strategy development, early opportunity assessments, VOC, forecasting, market modelling and business case development to support new product introduction programs.

  • Engage with cross-functional product development teams and be responsible for defining user requirements, guiding prioritization, trade-offs and product feature/design decisions, establishing marketing claims, and clinical indications for use.

  • Lead strategic collaboration partnerships with key robotic players: establish collaboration agreement, define integration scope of work, lead regular cross-functional discussions with internal and external stakeholders to drive project execution and roll out launch to the commercial teams.

  • Be the subject matter expert for clinical usage, market trends, competitive forces, disruptive technologies, value proposition and healthcare economic awareness to inform existing adoption and market expansion opportunities.

  • Lead product forecasting and global pricing strategy with the support from cross functional teams and regional sales leaders.

  • Collaborate with field marketing and regional commercial teams to define and execute comprehensive launch plans, product positioning, messaging, promotional plans, sales enablement tools and physician education programs.

  • Develop and manage relationships with KOLs who will champion BK products and act as advisors in new product development activities.

  • Support industry educational meetings and events, on-site customer meetings and strategic meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field.

  • 3+ years of demonstrated success in medical device product management.

  • Ability to influence and drive results in cross-functional teams.

  • Self-starter, results driven, competent managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong technical competency, strategic mindset, business insight and analytical skills.

  • Willing and able to travel globally as required (up to 30% of time)

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $93,840.00-$140,760.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
