Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.
As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Ability to work with Executives. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic. Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. Basic HTML and web technology skills a plus. 8 years technology/industry experience and BA/BS/MBA degree.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

As a Director of Oracle Database product marketing, you will be responsible for leading the development of global marketing content for the company’s flagship database offering. Responsibilities include managing new product introductions and enhancements; creating marketing-led opportunities via demand generation campaigns with field marketing teams; securing customer references from both global and regional brands; driving traffic to key pages on Oracle.com; and producing high impact, high quality digital content, such as videos and infographics that can be successfully leveraged across a multitude of social engagement platforms. You will work collaboratively with Oracle Database Product Management & Engineering and regional business development teams to ensure that both current and future offerings are marketed successfully around the world. Monitor the development of business plans and business results of all related marketing and sales programs. Identify customer needs, monitor the market trends/competitive landscape manage lifecycles and product positioning in the market place. Create high quality seller content to ensure right skills and tools are available for sellers to engage with their customers.
In-depth knowledge of the Database market is vital to the success of this role. Overall Database industry experience of at least 5 years in a product marketing capacity. Ability to write clear, succinct business documents for senior management review and communicate effectively to key stakeholders across multiple lines of business is expected of this role. The ability to understand the competitive landscape and translate Oracle’s advantages into compelling marketing content is key.
