Deep understanding of Design Systems
Scope, scale, frame, and deliver in ambiguous spaces where we encourage experimentation and failing forward in collaborative environments
Serve as a champion for design thinking and a human-centered, entrepreneurial approach to strategic enterprise transformation with our internal business partners and customers
Shape, lead, and/or coach compelling engagements that benefit our end-users, Salesforce, our customers and society as a whole by working closely with business executive teams across the Salesforce organization
Work closely with stakeholders from all orgs in Salesforce (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Customer Success) to define Design system needs
Work with cross-functional teams of researchers, designers, strategists and technologists to design and conduct bespoke innovation engagements
Present experience visions to executives and their leadership teams; collaborate with business value and enterprise architect teams to build business cases and roadmaps around those visions
Identify and manage political dynamics within our account teams, customers, and their partners, build trust with executive teams and stakeholders, and identify ways to create the excitement, alignment and momentum that inspires action on the vision
Continually keep abreast of emerging and best-in-class design systems and maintain a high-level understanding of the capabilities of the Salesforce platform
Actively participate in creating, testing, and sharing new and better tools, methods and processes for conducting collaborative programs, and find ways to multiply the value of the insights gained from every engagement
A strong strategic mindset and deep experience in leading design teams
A passion and rich background in design and design systems
Excellent visual and interaction design skills and a keen understanding of how to build alignment and collaboration across diverse stakeholders
Ability to communicate ideas, concepts and designs in a clear and compelling way to audiences of all levels
Track record of deploying digital tools and services in a fast-moving and changing environment – one that embraces exploration, rapid iteration, and production
Experience leading product design processes and building reliable cross-functional partnerships
Ability to craft high-quality work in short timeframes, multitask across different projects and platforms and adapt to the ever-changing priorities of the business
Proficiency in all major tools of the trade: Sketch, Adobe CS, Miro, Figma (bonus), etc.
Deep experience with business requirement gathering, end-to-journey mapping, facilitating design sprints, conducting competitive analysis, and leading rapid conceptualization and prototyping
A team philosophy that is inclusive of all people, perspectives, and capabilities
Experience with enterprise software solutions
Experience with CRM or enterprise software
