Keurig Dr Pepper Corporate Communications Manager in Burlington, Massachusetts

Job Overview

The Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for contributing to the strategic development and implementation of initiatives that elevate and protect the reputation of Keurig Dr Pepper. The position develops and executes corporate communications tactics that promote awareness and engagement among our target stakeholders, including leveraging earned media, paid media and owned channels to drive key messages. Additionally, the position mitigates reputational risk by preparing for and responding to issues and incidents as part of crisis communications work.

Position Responsibilities

  • Work with the Corporate Communications team in the strategic development and implementation of corporate communications and public relations programs at KDP with a goal of protecting and promoting the reputation of KDP across all external channels

  • Lead collaboration with assigned departments across the company, identifying initiatives and story ideas to leverage in external communications

  • Manage creation of communications materials, including messaging, Q&As, executive briefing packages and other collateral, representing the corporate voice authentically

  • Leverage earned media, paid media and owned channels to accomplish objectives, understanding target media outlets, influencers and other key stakeholders.

  • Support corporate issues and crisis mitigation and management, including working with Consumer Care and Social Media teams to develop response strategies for escalated consumer situations

  • Manage monitoring, measurement and reporting of corporate brand reputation in traditional and social media

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Communications, Journalism or English degree or equivalent required

  • 6+ years of public relations or corporate communications experience – agency or in-house -- preferably with CPG companies

  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills

  • Possesses clear ability to manage multiple projects at once while demonstrating strong composure and flexibility under tight deadlines

  • Team player, ability to build strong relations internally across functional areas and externally with vendors, suppliers, and other constituents

  • Self-starter, highly motivated, and ability to work independently

  • Commitment to company purpose and values

  • Ability to travel occasionally as required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
