The Content Marketing Manager at CA Veracode will research, create and edit quality content to communicate the importance of application security and the value of our firm. The Content Marketing Manager will write and manage the creation of content that ties to our key marketing themes/messages and campaigns. This resource will be a strong, experienced writer and researcher who is familiar with social media, content marketing best practices, and understands content’s role in driving marketing and overall business success.

  • Responsibilities:*

  • Create content ranging from blog posts to long-form whitepapers for use in awareness efforts, marketing campaigns and sales enablement

  • Focus on creating and telling great stories that appeal to prospects and current customers

  • Pitch ideas for blog, video, visual, and long-form content (ebooks, white papers, etc.), as well as new methods for producing and promoting content

  • Collaborate closely with PR and Demand Generation teams on editorial calendar and content optimization

  • Collaborate with outside writers and journalists to aid in brand amplification and brand reach

  • Research and recommend content created by third-party research firms like Gartner, Forrester, 451Group or other industry organizations

  • Manage production of newly created CA Veracode newsletter

  • Provide frequent conclusions to content marketing team on what is driving changes in performance

  • Required Skills/Experience:*

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills - 5-7 years’ experience as a writer

  • Background in branded content/editorial

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or related major

  • Desired Skills/Experience:*

  • Experience in writing for B2B audience

  • Security industry experience

  • Experience turning data into content
