Oracle Channel Marketing Manager in Burlington, Massachusetts
As a member of the global Channel Marketing organization, establish joint marketing plans with partners and identify effective distribution channels to promote Oracle's products, services, and business programs in support of Corporate objectives. Drive delivery of the Oracle message and monitor business results of e-marketing by acting as an integration point for all marketing initiatives within your product or geography.
Manage advertising / public relations and communication activities within the context of the overall corporate plan for the achievement of short and long term business objectives, increased profit and market control; as defined and communicated by senior Marketing management. Assist subordinates to meet business targets and best practice solutions. Disseminate key corporate information to the geography operations pertaining to new product development/launches. Liaise with managing directors to ensure that marketing activities are in support of sales plans. Working alongside more senior staff and management provide budget input for channel marketing projects and activities. Ensure consistency between global directions and single-geography implementation choices. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns on a geographical basis as needed. Maintain necessary contact with major suppliers, agencies, customers, industry associations and government representatives to achieve marketing objectives. Provide effective performance management: set clear goals for all staff, provide regular feedback on performance and conduct a formal appraisal at the conclusion of the fiscal year. Use professional concepts, company policies/procedures and creativity on Oracle / Partner assigned initiatives. Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market needs.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years relevant work experience. Software business management experience. Sales and Marketing experience in the IT industry. E-business Internet practical know-how.

The Oracle University marketing team is looking for a highly capable, self-directed, Global Channel Marketing Manager.
You will report to the Global Marketing Director for Oracle University and will drive awareness and demand for Oracle training and education products and services to/with/through partners in North America (NA), the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions (EMEA), and the Asia Pacific Region (APAC). You will work closely with the regional Channel Sales Managers for demand generation, partner enablement, and delivering information to partners.
You will develop a deep understanding of the Oracle Authorized Education Reseller (OAER) partner ecosystem and regional priorities to define and execute marketing plans with partners to support growth objectives. You will work closely with top OAER partners to develop and execute best-in-class joint-marketing plans.
You will work closely with product marketing, channel sales, and the partner s marketing team to develop sales tools and marketing campaigns that: increase brand awareness, create demand for Oracle University products and services, enable the partner s selling efforts, and drive revenue from partners and channels.
You will work strategically and tactically and use your experience to create joint marketing programs with selected partners to drive sales and manage partner Market Development Funds (MDF) programs.
You will act as the primary marketing contact with the Channel Sales team including regular participation in team calls, in-person meetings, and planning sessions. You will also act as the primary marketing contact and consultant for partners to build and execute joint marketing plans and programs. You will monitor and support partner utilization of MDF and enable appropriate spend of MDF on marketing initiatives including being an expert resource on process, guidelines and options for partners.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Plans, executes, and measures demand generation marketing programs campaigns that result in growth of sales pipeline and training services revenue for the Oracle University Channel Sales organization
Develop and execute best-in-class marketing strategies and plans to drive awareness, leads, customer adoption, and usage of Oracle training through different types of partners
Create innovative programs to scale efforts to support the worldwide partner ecosystem
Actively involved in partner programs to develop, enable and manage as well as to drive partner loyalty and revenue to the company
Liaise with channel managers in the region and other Oracle organization to ensure that marketing activities are in support of sales plans and company initiatives
Effectively utilize modern marketing strategies, tools, and measurements in support of the education channel sales strategy
Ensure consistency between global directions and single-geography implementation choices
Ensure and Monitor marketing development funds campaigns on geographical basis
Identify and deliver most effective assets for partners in the region
Evaluate needs of developing new tools and services for the programs
Work with sales and business development teams to ensure that the Channel Team has the right technical, marketing and sales content needed to present to/with our partner ecosystem
Ensure and monitor MDF campaigns on geographical basis
Identify and deliver most effective assets for partners in the region
Travel within the region, as necessary to execute partner marketing and enablement initiatives
Process/Assist channel team with required processes related to MDF execution in a timely manner as required within guidelines (contracts, PO s, various Oracle systems, etc)
5 years of relevant work experience in partner marketing including co-marketing, lead generation activity, partner enablement in IT industry, Market Development Funds, software business experience is a plus
Solid understanding of planning, negotiation, and execution of channel marketing activities
Experience working with B2B partners developing marketing strategy and business plans
Experience working in a diverse, matrix type organization that leverages teamwork and collaboration
Experience working with large, Enterprise-wide technology companies
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or other relevant field of study or equivalent experience
Ability to travel in the region and abroad as necessary to execute marketing initiatives
Demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor
Experience with modern marketing strategies and tools (e.g. Nurture campaigns, Eloqua, Endeca, etc.)
Proficient in various applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience working in an Agile Marketing environment (Jira, Asana, etc.) desirable
Past experience in Sales desirable
Fluency in English
