Keurig Dr Pepper Associate Category Manager in Burlington, Massachusetts

Job Overview

Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is looking for a highly motivated, analytically minded professional to join its Albertsons Category Management team.

The Associate Category Manager plays a valuable role in building a strong partnership with Albertsons by providing sound analytics, and consultative category guidance to deliver market leading growth across KDP beverage categories. This individual will conduct high quality analyses and synthesize multiple data sources to generate insights and actionable recommendations, while leveraging effective communication & influencing skills to orchestrate action within the Albertsons retail environment. This position reports to the Director of Category Management while supporting our Category Managers, Sales Directors, and local selling teams.

What you will do:

  • Lead category management reporting, trend analysis, customized reports, and special project work for the KDP cross functional team and for Albertsons key stakeholders

  • Assist in the development of value-added tools that streamline analytics and overall efficiency across the Albertsons cross functional team.

  • Support the planning and execution of planogram and assortment reviews for Albertsons

  • Deliver fully integrated consumer, shopper, category and marketplace insights and trends to guide Albertsons strategic choices and tactical executions, to drive market leading growth for the short and long term

  • Leverage critical thinking and problem-solving skills to recognize and anticipate issues and opportunities by elevating analyses beyond reporting and translate insight into retail action

  • Work closely with the Total Grocery Category Management team to establish, lead and maintain performance management routines including the streamlining of reporting cadences, macro performance assessments and opportunity gap analysis


  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • A minimum of 4 years of business experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) with a focus on category management and/or business analytics

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)

  • Possess strong time management and prioritization skills to operate in a highly accountable and fast paced environment. Well organized, analysis driven with pragmatic approach

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to seek alternatives, new ideas, and/or approaches to problems, and develop and implement solutions.

  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written & presentation, and follow-through

  • Capability to develop and influence strategies and tactics at both retailer and manufacturer, vertically and horizontally

  • Experience with syndicated data: IRI, Nielsen, Symphony Retail AI (EYC), Numerator, etc.

  • Experience with JDA Space Planning software

  • Experience on Albertsons – a plus

Salary range: $68,600 - $94,000 - $120,100
