As Associate Brand Manager of Licensed Coffee Brands, you will play a critical role in helping analyze, develop and implement annual consumer brand marketing plans. You will contribute to the strategic plan by understanding the consumer’s needs to drive relevance and loyalty to our brands, and then executing the plans with excellence in a highly competitive category. The Licensed Coffee brands portfolio includes well-known master brands such as McCafe®, La Colombe®, Newman’s Own®, Cinnabon®, and Swiss Miss®. To be successful, you must have a clear passion for the consumer, the ability to champion and drive ideas, and a desire to drive impact and action. This role reports into a Brand Manager, Licensed Coffee Brands.

This position is based in our HQ in Burlington, MA and it will have a hybrid scheduled: 3 days in the office and 2 days works from home on a weekly basis.


At KDP, our Associate Brand Managers are curious, data-driven, passionate leaders. They put the consumer at the heart of everything they do, and they lead with a General Management mindset. In this role, you will:

  • Oversee on-going analysis supporting brand initiatives and partner reviews. Use brand, industry and consumer information resources to identify business issues and opportunities and to develop strategic and programming recommendations to achieve brand goals.

  • Actively participate in developing and managing Consumer Engagement programs, including media, strategic partnerships, and customer relationships.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in Innovation extension and renovation innovation efforts, based in clear consumer insights and category trends.

  • Manage key consumer-driven marketing brand initiatives. Develop objectives, spearhead programs, develop and communicate all consumer materials, and manage agency execution. Responsible for consulting with cross-functional partners and driving a lignment across the organization.

  • Work effectively with licensed partners to influence, guide, and collaborate across growth initiatives

  • Own and actively manage brand marketing budget, cross-functional alignment, and end-of-year budget performance.


  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or related Master’s degree strongly preferred

  • 2 years of brand marketing/brand management experience. CPG/Beverage experience and/or coffee experience strongly preferred.
