Euromoney Institutional Investor Sales Operations Manager in Burlington, MA, Massachusetts

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Work across teams (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, IT and Finance) to ensure the processes are evolving to meet the business needs and align at the divisional level.

  • Be the subject matter expert in our Salesforce system workflow to support the accurate flow of client leads and opportunities through closure to booking, ensure the sales cycle operates as designed, and accurate

  • Build and coordinate sales activity measurements, tracking and forecasting

  • Support the day to day business operations and processes for monthly/quarterly/year close, bookings forecasting and reporting

  • Manage the quota process, including quota development by team/person, and ensure the integrity of quota assignments

  • Lead the management of commissions processes and reporting, including managing all month end / quarterly / and full year reporting cycles, in concert with finance, operations and sales leadership.

  • Design, provide and maintain reporting/dashboards both within Salesforce and using Excel spreadsheets to ensure analytics and insight support to the SVP Sales and business overall

Additional Accountabilities

  • Act as sales liaison to Salesforce IT team for both support-related tasks, data integrity, and development of future requirements

  • Troubleshoot process breakdowns in order to cash processes between Salesforce and NetSuite (process, not technical)

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

  • Demonstrated analytical and financial skills in data analysis and segmentation, and subscription revenue analysis

  • Self-starter with the ability to jump in, get things done and work in both a strategic and tactical execution capacity

  • Strong communication, presentation and project management skills

  • Team Player who has strong interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to prioritize competing needs and handle multiple requests concurrently

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3-5 years business or sales operations experience, building and managing business process flows

  • Experience supporting B2B information services or other ‘as a service’ offerings businesses

  • Salesforce or similar CRM system experience

  • NetSuite experience a plus
