TITLE: Development Associate HOURS: Full-time LOCATION: Brockton, MA SALARY: \$60,000-\$65,000 /Annual BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Holiday, Paid Earned Leave, Retirement, etc. We are seeking a Development Associate to support the organization\'s fundraising and communications efforts. Under the supervision of the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO), the Development Associate will manage the organization?s fundraising/donor database and grants tracker, oversee the gift acknowledgement process, assist with the grant applications and funder reports, and help create and disseminate communications messages and materials. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The Development Associate will: * Manage the full spectrum of administrative functions for the Development Team, including grant calendar management, tracking deadlines, and scheduling for senior staff. * Manage Health Imperatives\' fundraising and donor database, ensuring that all database entries are accurate and up to date, while troubleshooting any database issues. * Responsible for keeping accurate and organized donor, grant, funder records; data; donor reports. * Track program progress toward goals and work with program staff to support reporting efforts. * Support donor stewardship, including sending timely donor acknowledgements and updates. * Assist with grant applications and attachments under the direction of the CAO. * Support relationships with external stakeholders such as partners or the media, including fielding calls and email inquiries * Conduct prospect research to identify potential new sources of funding. * Provide administrative support to the Board of Directors, including recording meeting minutes. * Provide support to advertising and marketing efforts, including assisting in the production of communications materials. * Manage logistics of fundraising mailings such as invitations, donor updates, or appeal letters. * Create reports and utilize database dashboards to analyze fundraising progress, direct mail responses and campaigns. * Track and monitor communications and social media metrics (e.g., web analytics) and media coverage * Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor\'s degree required. Three to five years\' experience in fundraising, communications, marketing, or related field preferred. Experience organizing fundraising events strongly preferred.
