Job Description

Intel's Sales and Marketing Group (SMG), NEX Category Management organization is looking for a commission based technical specialist manager position.

As a technical sales leader the successful candidate will lead a team responsible for influencing and enabling end user customers, ISVs, OEMs, partners to implement Intel Networking solutions by adopting Intel products and technologies.

This role is focused on supporting the field sales teams and coordinating with customer, end-user and divisional product engineering teams to understand customer product and application requirements and lead linked teams thru the design cycle to secure customer commitment and revenue.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Leading a worldwide team of Networking Technical Sales Specialists.

  • Setting priorities for the team at the account team and geography level, including negotiation and assignment of quota to the individual sales leads and account teams.

  • Managing the product introduction and launch strategy across global customer base consisting of customers that may be OEM, distribution, or major accounts.

  • Ownership of customer and distributor relationships globally including day to day responsibility for pricing, supply, including business planning and operations in partnership with the Business Division.

  • Evaluate and evangelize product and roadmap technical merits, develop ROI /TCO models and co-own relationships with customer/partner decision makers to influence the customers purchasing decision.

  • Engaging with end customer R and D teams in support of the local field sales and marketing team to lead analysis of customer requirements, usage models and platforms, driving the MRD/PRD process in coordination with other engineering support teams and securing design wins based on NEX Cloud Networking Division products.

  • Successful delivery and orchestration of PoCs, Workshops and Pre-Production Pilot implementations with customers and partners of Intel.

  • Provide direct technical assistance to customers and partners, interfacing with Sr. technical decision makers for Line of Business and Operational Technology Groups and representing customer market segment requirements back into the business unit for future product planning.

  • Be the point of contact within the Industry Technical Specialist/Intel technical sales teams for all related support.

  • Ensuring an inclusive work environment including development of employees and manage performance.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Requires extensive theoretical, practical, and industry knowledge of cloud networking products, topologies and best practice. Applies and/or develops highly advanced technologies, principles, and concepts.

Note: This is a commissioned sales position. **

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, Electrical Engineer, or any related field.

  • 8+ years of demonstrable experience in leading technical solutions sales and / or pre-sales into Original Equipment Manufacturer, Channel and Cloud Accounts worldwide.

  • The candidate will be required to travel approx. 50% of the time.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $203,990.00-$326,170.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
