The Expertise We’re Looking For
10-15 years of industry experience in a Benefits Consulting firm, Broker and/or Health Insurance Carrier
Demonstrated track record of selling Benefits Consulting with an emphasis on H&W services
Deep understanding of health and other employee benefits insurance products
The Purpose of Your Role
As VP, in Benefits Consulting - Business Development you will be responsible for leading Benefits Consulting business development activity with an emphasis on H&W services for Benefits Consulting. Utilizing your strong client management skills and knowledge of the industry, you will focus on driving business growth by identifying and introducing new prospects to Fidelity’s H&W consulting services and client focused approach. Additionally, you will cultivate relationships with existing clients to promote awareness of new products and solutions.

Understanding and effectively communicating Fidelity Benefits Consulting value proposition and convey how Fidelity is a market differentiator
Expanding the prospect pipeline and developing new business opportunities
Make introductions that create selling opportunities with key buyers at targeted clients and prospects
Leveraging Health & Benefits expertise to other practices to expand client relationships for ongoing work and new business opportunities
Remaining current and aware of the trends within the health care industry
Promoting the Fidelity Benefits Consulting organization through participation in associations, industry conferences and other events

The Benefits Consulting business helps mid to large-size employers assess the effectiveness of their benefits programs by providing a holistic approach to providing a holistic approach to H&W strategy, design, vendor management, financial management, and delivery.
The Benefits Consulting business at Fidelity Investments was launched in 1997. Since then, the business has grown significantly. Fidelity currently employs approximately 350 consultants focused on domestic benefits in strategy and execution based in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Raleigh and San Francisco. Additionally, the operation is expanding globally, with a new team and presence being built in the U.K
