We are looking for an inspirational Vice President of Equality in Operations & Strategic Programs to join a growing, dynamic, and global team within Salesforce Employee Success to support the long-term diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies. Reporting into the Sr Vice President of Office of Equality and Employee Relations, this leader will lead Salesforce’s operations & strategic programs, including managing a team. The Vice President will design and develop innovative programs, processes, and approaches with Equality at the center. This leader will utilize their deep expertise across our Equality programs and ERGs as Salesforce scales to 100K+ employees. This is a newly-created role to fuel tremendous growth at Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Create strategy and operationalize Company-wide Equality operations, programs and cross-Employee Success Equality Analytics, business scorecards and Public goals

  • Drive all operational processes across global Equality

  • Cross-functional coordination with other Employee Success functions and the business

  • Continue to up level the work to drive business strategy

  • Influence the strategy of the COEs to support and enable the business

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of operational and, ideally, Inclusion and Diversity experience that includes 10+ years of team leadership including third line management.

  • A critical thought leader who can turn ideas into action; the ability to drive net-new programs at scale.

  • The ability to innovate from concept to delivery. Proven experience of driving DEI programs through process, technology, and people.

  • A keen interest in data and a point of view around how data should be used and interpreted; the ability to synthesize key points from a data set and make informed decisions.

  • Proven ability to earn trust and credibility quickly.

  • History of building long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Experience with Employee Resource Groups

  • Proven track record of inclusive leadership and managing a global team

Preferred Requirements:

  • Standardize processes and eliminate duplicative efforts across global equality efforts.

  • Be a strategic partner in position management and process standardization.

  • With a cross functional team, work to evolve Advocacy and Belonging, Engagement, Content, International Programs and Equality Acceleration partners.

  • Help drive the Office of Equality technology roadmap.

  • Navigate within Salesforce to create, foster, and implement company-wide procedures and programs to enable success for Salesforce's recruiting strategy, with equality in mind.

  • Partner with executive leadership, sourcing, recruitment marketing, and internal equality groups to understand, improve, and drive our global equality efforts and pipeline strategies.

  • Interpret data, measure success, and pivot as necessary to ensure the successful adoption of new and improved recruiting programs at scale.

  • Oversee and deliver programs that are implemented across the company to drive equality strategies.

  • Passion for Salesforce: our values, and the role the Employee Success plays in our success.

  • Ability to inspire globally: align, and enable a geographically dispersed team in order to drive a successful business.

  • Builds Equality Strategy practice: Industry savvy, up to date and energized by current and future industry trends on Equality Strategy, culture and future of work.
