The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on an VP of BenTech Strategy & Enablement Management to join our Sales & Distribution Team for Group Protection in our Workplace Solutions organization in a remote environment.

Background Details

As a VP, BenTech Strategy & Enablement Management, you will provide strategic direction and lead the execution of benefit administration, human capital management (HCM) and enrollment technology partnerships and integrations. This role will lead key initiatives to drive the success of Lincoln’s voluntary benefits strategy and growth for all business segments within Group Protection through establishment of sales and growth targets of each platform partner for Group Protection.

What you'll be doing

  • You will drive revenue growth through leading the development and execution of new and existing benefit administration, HCM, and enrollment firm strategies. In addition, you will oversee funding recommendations and CBA development for benefit technology partners and solutions.

  • You will closely collaborate with Procurement on partnership selection and contracting.

  • You will lead a team of tech consultants to manage existing and facilitate new strategic partnerships.

  • You will direct a team to champion Lincoln’s technology capabilities, including data integrations (LDEx, API, billing, eligibility, outbound feeds, etc.). In addition, you will oversee the team in driving business growth in sales & revenue by effectively advocating advantages of benefit technology partnerships and highlighting future state capabilities through RFPs, finalist presentations and day-to-day support.

  • You will partner with Distribution to set and execute enrollment and voluntary sales enablement strategies for preferred platforms.

  • You will lead engagement with internal teams to support a ready-to-service model that is scalable, repeatable, and well documented.

  • You will maintain current knowledge of competitor partnership offerings, trends in benefit technology, and current trends & best practices in voluntary space.

  • You will provide functional expertise to inform marketing designs and sales enablement to support appropriate communication tools and training for field distribution.

  • You will lead, establish and implement priorities, performance goals and objectives to achieve key business results for BenTech Strategy & Enablement Management while leading and executing on approved strategies.

What we’re looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

  • 4 year / Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent work experience in lieu of Bachelor's.

  • 12+ years’ experience in strategic partnership and/or insurance/benefits directly aligned to the specific responsibilities of this role with 5+ years of management, strategy. and influencing senior management/critical stakeholder experience.

  • Executive presence and communication skills; ability to clearly articulate key points to a variety of audiences and stakeholders.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 50%
