Thermo Fisher Scientific Virtual Engagement Brand Sr. Manager in Boston, Massachusetts
Seeking self-directed digital marketer with virtual customer engagement experience. As the Virtual Engagement Brand Sr Manager , you will be responsible for driving the Corporate virtual/digital engagement Brand strategy, including managing a range of small to large scale global virtual events, digital customer interactions and online brand experience. This role requires excellent project management along with time management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills in order to be successful. The candidate should be extremely detail-oriented and have hands-on experience in the planning, producing, and promoting of virtual events and digital experiences in order to understand complexity and implement new processes within organization. This role will be highly engaged with the Corporate Digital and Web teams, as well as individual Businesses and Regions.
Responsibilities
Collaborate cross-company efforts designed to deliver a unified digital experience that enhances experiences and delivers meaningful brand content for our customers (through Thermo Fisher and 3rd party technology solutions)
Bridge the gap and execute the Global Brand marketing strategy with online/virtual customer engagements.
Build a Center Of Excellence model for creating and executing best practices across virtual/digital channels, supporting individual (matrixed) Business needs with in/out industry evolving best practices.
Partner with outside industry experts and agencies to drive more effective and efficient customer engagements.
Forward thinking with an eye on new and emerging virtual technologies
Define digital event project plan(s) and goals including milestones and deliverables that supports the agreed corporate strategy and direction
Influence and align with key business stakeholders across business and corporate teams on digital event strategies
Create comprehensive event project plans, conduct regular checkpoints with deliverable owners, escalate risks and challenges appropriately and ensure event strategy (and execution when required) is delivered on time and on budget
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate event planning into end-to-end digital customer journey
Manage agency and vendors relationships and production to provide strategic event support at the highest level
Track issues and risks and build appropriate contingency plans while escalating when needed
Build processes for repeatability and scalability of digital events activities
Define project organization, governance and responsibility across matrix organization
Deliver post event reports with data-driven analysis including attendee and stakeholder feedback, goal attainment, and recommendations for future digital event improvements
Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years Virtual/Digital customer engagement including digital marketing and marketing program execution
Confident with the proven ability to bring together cross-functional teams towards a common goal.
Desire to be challenged and develop creative strategies as online and virtual platforms evolve
Experience working in and leading projects within a large, complex organization
Knowledge and experience that demonstrates ability to create new, virtual programs from the ground up, that can scale globally
AR, VR and immersive technology experience, knowledge and implementation is a plus
Must be responsive, adapt, empathetic to diverse points of view and able to balance personal opinion with needs of individual Businesses.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, technology, or a related field
