Your new role - Solution Partner - VP of Energy, Utilities- Siemens Advanta

How will you help shape the future with us?
In your role as the lead partner for Digital Utilities in Siemens Advanta North America, you will be responsible for growing a profitable business line (OI $15m-$20m) by defining and implementing a solid growth strategy, and acquiring new customers leveraging existing and new Digital Utilities service offerings
Identify C-Level decision-makers, build strong strategic relationships, become a trusted and valued partner and advisor to the client CXOs and key stakeholders
Establish a pipeline and lead sales pursuit teams to engage clients and win strategic deals, driving closure of sales with utilities across North America
Create and nurture leads, communicate the value proposition, tell the Siemens Advanta story and differentiate our offerings versus competitors
Accelerate and increase profitable sales through forecasting, qualification, account strategy, planning cost estimation and negotiating, developing solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the deal with the support of the Sales Enablement and Project Management teams
Lead a team of sales-focused subject matter experts and business developers
Foster coordination in the global organization and act as role model for our Siemens Advanta values: Dare to Dream, Love our Clients, Team Wins, Enjoy the Ride.

Proven experience in acquiring new business and building successful book of business
Proven experience in solutions-focused professional services, system integration environment with industry focus; utilities, distributed energy resource management.
Experience with and existing networks across the Energy & Utilities sector
Growth mindset with a passion to learn and empower team members and peers
Ability to innovate and operate in a rapidly evolving market without having all of the answers
Domain know-how of assets and processes in the Energy and Utilities sector to ensure industry-specific proposal and use case development
Understanding of technology stack including IoT architecture, edge devices, sensors, hardware, security, IT, OT and AI
Understanding of the customer journey: Anticipating what digital transformation means for our customers and proactively developing solutions together with the partners in the ecosystem
Ability to win at C-level or board level and also to build and leverage professional networks and relationships across all seniority levels
