What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:

You will be responsible for superior achievement of profit, growth, customer, and employee satisfaction goals for the Energy Services business globally and locally and our US Energy & Performance Services (EPS) business. With this, you will have end-to-end profit and loss responsibility for a key critical segment within our business unit. You will lead the strategy and go-to-market approach for our Energy Services business worldwide and support global portfolio development. With your team you will create and share best practices and portfolio across all regions to increase speed to market and eliminate duplication of efforts in the regions.

You will execute the business strategy through our US Energy & Performance Services (EPS) Zone, branches, and enterprise organization working in collaboration with our Region Leadership and Siemens Government Technologies. In this set up you will work in conjunction with Global EPS Business Line to rollout, support, and achieve planned OI, Revenue and Profit in partnership with the region head of EPS for Europe, Germany, and Middle East Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for portfolio of our Energy Performance Services business which includes supply and demand side, consulting services, Distributed Energy Systems, and Energy as a Service.

  • Drive solutions and services around Energy Performance Services with emphasis on digitalization and digital services.

  • Responsible for the Energy Performance Services Zone with is our sales/ operations channel to the market to support customers on sustainability, decarbonization, net zero, deferred maintenance needs/goals.

  • Responsible for energy service which includes the Business Development team that supports the Regional Solutions and Services field sales channel and Energy Performance Services.

  • Designs, implements and continuously monitors organizational growth plans to increase revenue, market share and profit margins for our ESCO, Energy Service, RCS, SEM and Federal EPS business.

  • Drives organization to a profitable level to meet and exceed budgeted and forecasted bookings, revenue and profit margins.

  • Provides business vision and direction, addresses departmental issues and effectively communicates organizational information as needed.

  • Maintains and broadens personal contacts with major customers, key partners and industry associations and potential customers where position status would be a key factor in a relationship.

  • Provides sales, technical, finance, marketing and management consultation to managers and provides a senior presence and sales assistance in major sales situations.

  • Conducts Technical LOA’s for major large projects to assess risks and options to develop winning strategy.

  • Builds and continuously improves a superior organization committed to profitable growth in the Energy Service Business and Energy & Performance Services (EPS) business and employee satisfaction.

  • Engages and motivates employees to focus on goals and objectives achievement. Ensures appropriate technical training programs in conjunction with Performance Management.

  • Represents Siemens and networks with executive and client leadership at industry associations, professional or community organizations to enhance business image and success.

  • Teams with other business units and divisions to provide total customer solutions in Siemens products and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business Administration, Finance, Sustainability, Engineering, Management, or a related field required

  • 10 years of direct industry experience, and at a minimum five years of management experience with significant P&L responsibility

  • Executive level leadership, organizational, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills required

  • US and International travel required
