In this role, you will engage with insurance clients in a leadership role to drive enterprise transformation programs forward (P&C or Life practices). You will be an integral part of the technical team leading the building of innovative and complete lifecycle solutions with multiple technologies, partners, and offerings in the marketplace. This includes orchestrating client and EPAM teams to ensure client success and contributing to EPAM’s growth by supporting EPAM’s world-class engineering teams to make the transformation ‘real’. You will also serve as a key leader in the expansion and growth of our Insurance Strategy & Transformation advisory team and will work closely across the organization with a set of broader integrated offerings across EPAM.

Enablement of our offerings will be critical in taking those to market and to our clients, with an ability to articulate the framework, the process, and impact to clients. We want to not only be market relevant but in addition to that provide significant benefits and insights – be one step ahead of the clients.

A critical component of this role is to collaborate and partner with EPAM’s Practices including Marketing, Product Development / Engineering, Digital Engagement, Design, and Software Delivery to successfully deliver world-class solutions to our clients.





  • In this role, you will help our clients achieve their desired goals and business objectives by leading the technical side of our strategic engagements bringing our GTM offerings and solutions to our clients with a value to impact approach

  • Lead business development and demand generation activities. Build deep client relationships across a diverse network and use a flexible influencing style to gain buy-in and drive impact thereby generating new and pull through opportunities

  • Help to define EPAM’s go to market value proposition for solutions. This includes interfacing with other senior leadership within EPAM to craft other related offerings

  • Support sales and pre-sales activities by assessing opportunities, designing solutions, developing proposals, and establishing relationships with clients and prospective clients, and helping to close new deals

  • You will understand / communicate complex operational insurance issues and establish relationships with client stakeholders

  • You will oversee the quality of solution implementation and work with key client stakeholders and internal resources to address issues as they arise

  • Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about engagement progress and expected outcomes

  • Demonstrate in-depth domain knowledge, technical capabilities, and ability to assimilate new knowledge and possess good business acumen

  • Lead and contribute to development of innovative methods and tools that increase the impact of our service offerings

  • Lead development of assets and accelerators which will enable EPAM in speedier and nimble engagement delivery

  • Create opportunities to drive impact; anticipate client needs and deliver superior results by leveraging each person’s strengths to build high performing teams

  • Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related disciplines, masters or further education appreciated

  • Insurance industry (P&C and/or Life) experience

  • 15+ years of consulting experiencing working on a strategy, transformation, or solution delivery project with diverse teams and roles. A blend of consulting and industry is also acceptable

  • Experience in two to three of the following technical competencies: Technical delivery and agile transformation, IT Transformation/complex program management, program/portfolio architecture, business and IT alignment, IT organizational change management, IT cost optimization and budget/resource management, IT service/delivery management (including shared services), and IT systems integration and separation

  • Experience in managing the technical direction of a project from initiation and requirements through design, build, testing, and implementation using frameworks such as Agile and Waterfall

  • Ability to develop thought leadership in an area of expertise (whether published or not)

  • Strong oral and written communication skills including executive presentation skills

  • Experience assessing and improving business processes, systems, and associated technologies

  • Ability to lead and mentor junior resources

  • Experience supporting business development activities (e.g. pursuits, proposals, presentations)

  • Proven record of building effective teams-recruiting and retention is critical

  • Program/Project/Workstream management experience in an on-shore/off-shore model collaborating with clients and third-party vendors

  • Experience with one or more of the following policy administration systems (P&C or Life):

  • FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, GIAS, DXC wmA/CyberLife, LifePRO, FAST, Infosys McCamish, InsPro, OIPA, Alis, Wyde, Andesa, Majesco, Macaw, SimpleINSPIRE, Duck Creek Suite, and Low-code, no-code platforms

  • New business, claims, and underwriting systems (P&C or Life): Limelight Health, FINEOS AdminSuite, iPipeline, nbaccelerator, Concentrix, Insurance Technologies, ClaimVantage, Vue

  • Experience or exposure to one or more of the following: application servers, database, development tools, middleware and integration technologies

  • Experience in roles such as IT, Solution Architect, Technical Lead and/or Developer (preferably Java / J2EE or Java based languages)

  • This position operates in a remote capacity, but you must live within driving distance to an EPAM office. Your recruiter will discuss specific details about work location during the initial interview process
