Amazon Web Services Technical Program Manager - Innovate on a New Platform in AWS in Boston, Massachusetts

Do you want to innovate on a new platform with Amazon Web Services?

Come join our teams in AWS, you’ll help us design and develop solutions that enables AWS to expand our operations into new data centers worldwide. As an AWS Technical Program Manager (TPM), you’ll be a technical owner of a suite of services to deliver customer features, collaborate with a team of engineers, and own conceptual designs while managing teams toward delivery. We’re building new services from the ground-up, so you will get to build green-field solutions in AWS.

To succeed in this role, you have strong written and verbal skills, have the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate new ideas and have the ability to work across functional disciplines to deliver online products/services. As a TPM with our team, you will collaborate with other engineers on technical direction, strategy with a career opportunity for growth that AWS can offer.

Our solutions will support programs in compliance, and build a platform that will extend to first-class AWS services. You’ll join our team in AWS Security Assurance, collaborating with engineers designing solutions at massive scale.

This position is located in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, Boston, New York City or Arlington.

  • 5+ years of product management experience

  • Demonstrated track record of shaping business strategy for technical products or services with a complex scope and diverse customers

  • Demonstrated experience earning trust with senior leaders regarding complex technical initiatives


  • Experience positioning products in a complex marketplace

  • Experience working successfully with global partner teams

  • Excellent written communication skills

  • Understanding of Agile software engineering practices

  • Experience with server-less computing, enterprise-wide systems, and AWS products

  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role

  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
