SVP, Product Mgmt and Product Marketing

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will work closely with executives and other business stakeholders to shape and drive our product vision using your foundation as an expert on the market, trends, and opportunities. You will evangelize that vision constantly to ensure stakeholders are aligned and understand where we are going. You must have a combination of strong business acumen and technical skills with a deep understanding of the enterprise security market.

This position is for an experienced product management and transformation executive who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, loves to bring clarity from ambiguity, and knows how to build a culture of trust, growth, collaboration, and excellence.

About the Role:

  • Partner with the Products Leadership Team to design, develop and lead implementation of solutions to meet business needs founded on a thorough understanding of business unit strategies and objectives, the competitive landscape, and current and potential future business challenges

  • Use data-focused approach to ensure each initiative on our product roadmap delivers a meaningful impact to our business and users

  • Think Strategically - Understand the market and the competition and know what it takes to gain a competitive advantage; Operate both strategically and tactically in a dynamic environment; Develops relevant, sustainable solutions; Align the right resources to the task at hand and foresee and plan around obstacles

  • Develop deep and trusted relationships with key customers, partners, and other key stakeholders

  • Drive Results - Attack everything with drive and energy with an eye on both the bottom line and customer success

  • Create a talent plan designed to develop, motivate, and retain top product management talent

  • Influence others, with strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibility

About You:

  • The ideal candidate has a 10+ year track record of success at leading technology and product organizations while being both a strategist and executor

  • A customer-centric software Product Leader with a history of developing a product strategy that aligns with the corporate strategy and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • You bring years of product leadership experience in a product led company, developing and executing against a product roadmap that delivers revenue growth

  • You are comfortable Interacting and influencing at an executive level on strategic product direction, including interacting with senior company leadership on complex processes and applying strong judgment and analysis toward important product led outcomes.

  • You bring experience building and leading expert product, data science, analytics, and engineering teams comprising both leaders and individual contributors, and are adept at figuring out ways to position them for success.

  • You have a technical background that is broad, spanning multiple areas including data products and visualization, data and behavioral analytics, advanced metrics, statistics, machine learning, causal methods, and data engineering and architecture.

  • You have strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams, from executive leadership to the company as a whole.

  • Very effective interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members and external parties.

  • Ability to prioritize & handle multiple requests concurrently and consistently deliver superior results in a timely fashion.

  • Effective change agent, can lead change, think out of the box, & make new ideas happen. Ability to communicate vision and strategy.

  • You are collaborative, diplomatic, and humble. You have no problem rolling up your sleeves to help when needed.
