The Creative Services team at Salesforce in the Digital Strategy & Design (DSD) group works directly with global leaders and top-level executives as they look to transform their organizations and their industries. We help these leaders solve some of their most interesting – and difficult – challenges, using human-centered design methods alongside Salesforce’s world-class technology. The Creative Services team provides the Customer Success Professional Services Group and their leadership with support in pre sales presentation design, marketing, and internal and external communications. As our team’s Production Artist Intern, you will work with designers to execute on the incoming requests to the Creative Services team, bringing to life the story of the power of a Salesforce partnership. In order to succeed in this role, you should have a strong sense of detail, keen design eye, and the ability to implement creative direction. Candidates should have a background in graphic design and/or illustration. If you’re passionate about design and eager to learn more, we’d like to meet you.

  • Multi-tasking across a number of projects at any given time

  • Providing creative support to multiple design leads and leveraging design mentorship opportunities.

  • Researching brands and producing hybrid brand guides (Salesforce + customer)

  • Producing assets from designed templates or creative concepts

  • Being a design detective, discovering missed details and identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Projects and teammates that push you to grow by challenging your assumptions, skills, and knowledge

  • Teamwork that results in effective hand-offs and routine feedback sessions to improve output

  • Working with some of the largest brands out there as they pursue their digital transformation journey

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Be Bold: propose creative solutions to tackle our stakeholders communications goals.

  • Be Clever: Interpret creative direction and technical information into compelling graphics and presentations.

  • Be a Team Player: collaborate with other presentation designers

  • Be Open Minded: welcome constructive direction and use feedback to craft clear and well structured content; work collaboratively with multiple partners to deliver a unified narrative

  • Be Organized: manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously

  • Be Adventurous: actively participate in creating, testing, and sharing new and better tools, methods and processes with our multimedia design capability teams.

Required Experience/Skills/Traits:

  • At least three (3) Months of past intern/co-op or freelance Communications Design / Graphic Design Production experience

  • At least 2 years education at an accredited college/university, pursuing a design, marketing, or software degree

  • Ability to take creative direction and follow through independently when needed. Keen attention to detail

  • Creative and comfortable with ambiguity, exploration and iteration under pressure / tight deadlines

  • Proficient in Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Keynote

  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator, or other similar design tools

  • Positive attitude, iterative approach and ability to work with teams

  • Appreciates the importance of both receiving and giving feedback

  • Operates with confidentiality and integrity

  • Motion graphics, data visualization, and infographic design is a nice to have, or interest in building the skillset
