Strategy & Prog Dev Dir

Location: This position can be remote anywhere in the United States.

Responsible for developing communications and strategies for the Medicare business unit to ensure growth.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitors and analyzes related legislation and competitor activity in order to advise senior management on Anthem's competitive positioning.

  • Researches new ventures and prospective revenue expansion opportunities.

  • Develops strategic and annual plans in collaboration with finance and actuarial for long term growth planning.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including 5 years of leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Ability to travel may be required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience in the products and services of the respective industry strongly preferred.

  • MBA preferred.
