The Strategy Director will play a critical role in defining the company’s long-term strategic vision. This individual will serve as a focal point to partner with senior leaders to evaluate new business opportunities, formulate relevant strategies, and drive strategy implementation throughout the company. This individual will lead the company’s strategic long-range planning process and will be critical to identifying and launch new businesses.

Serve as the focal point with senior leaders across the company to identify and prioritize strategic and operational opportunities
Provide a disciplined strategic approach to solving business issues across the company
Identify and analyze new market opportunities within and outside the core business and develop business plans to evaluate growth potential and investment requirements
Design and guide the execution of market, competitor, financial, and operational analysis and deliver clear, actionable strategic recommendations
Help develop and track implementation plans of strategic projects to ensure focus and discipline
Lead the national 5-year strategy planning process with process design, workshop facilitation, strategy formation, and communication
Support the launch of new businesses by leading the development of the business case, strategy, go-to-market, pricing model, hiring plan, process requirements, metrics, etc
Define the appropriate governance model for the varied strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and new businesses
Prepare and present executive-level presentations summarizing findings and recommending actions in compelling way
Experience identifying, evaluating and analyzing critical strategic questions and business situations
Results oriented with ability to blend conceptual and analytical frameworks to develop pragmatic and sustainable approaches to solving business issues
Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize and drive multiple simultaneous projects
Strong analytical capabilities and experience designing data-driven analysis
Ability to formulate and deliver concise communication to senior management of complex information and recommendations, in both written and oral presentation
Exceptional relationship management with collaborative style to partner with internal and external stakeholders across levels
Operating knowledge of how organizations translate business strategies into opportunities and results
Excellent personal and leadership qualities with demonstrated ability to gain the confidence of individuals at all levels of the company
Enthusiastic and inspiring leadership style, welcoming of accountability and able to hold others accountable in constructive manner
Willingness to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to ensure success
High ethical standards and personal integrity
Significant prior work experience at the engagement manager-level as a management consultant having led a blend of growth strategy and operations-improvement projects
Strong academic background; MBA preferred
