The source of funds for new digital business initiatives is coming more frequently from business departments outside of IT. The Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) Organization's fast response to this shift, by aligning industry experts to better support our customers, has presented an opening for increased global collaboration around how we bring industry solutions to our customers. As a Global Industry Solutions Strategist in the WWPS business, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement the strategy that accelerates how the Field helps customers drive business outcomes with AWS. You will be part of a team that owns and iterates on the Industry Solutions Framework that underpins all of the WWPS Industry Teams. It accelerates customer adoption of solutions, measuring results, and evolving the programs to meet our customers’ needs. Internally, you will be an advocate, acting on behalf of the Global Industry Solutions Team to help drive change by identifying patterns and best practices that can be implemented to improve our framework. You’ll be a member of a close-knit global team, and you’ll work with colleagues all over the world.

2+ years' direct experience addressing the needs of Line of Business Leaders in a technical context;
5+ years' experience working with Sales Teams and Customers to identify solutions to drive business change;
Have analytic acumen and proven ability to assess and synthesize large swaths of data into actionable outputs;
Have strong interpersonal skills to navigate across, and collaborate with, multiple teams in AWS;
Understand the importance of educating, training, and enabling the AWS Field, customers, and partners alike;
Recognize what is required to integrate cutting-edge cloud services with partner technologies to form cohesive customer facing solutions that can be scaled to serve defined market segments;
An ability to remain flexible to changing priorities, to be open to new ideas and make calculated tradeoffs when faced with competing priorities;
Exposure or experience in team management and/or business operations;
Experience in writing team communications;
Ability to drive program/project delivery, execution, and adoption across multiple teams;
Skills to collaborate with project stakeholders in multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver on agreed milestones;
Adept in identifying bottlenecks/blockers and managing escalations;
Ability to support our team communication strategy, including ownership of business cadence (all hands, team meetings etc);
Have a high aptitude to deliver in ambiguous, uncertain, at times conflicting and very demanding environments
