What you ll do:

As a Senior Specialist, Strategic Marketing Planner (SMP) in Deloitte Services LP, a subsidiary of the Deloitte US Firms, you will contribute to the growth and development of our organization in a variety of ways, including:

  • To develop, execute and optimize best-in-class and innovative marketing and communications campaigns, collaborating with a team of marketing and communications professionals to engage our clients and marketplace to achieve our business objectives

  • To collaborate across the organization to design and deliver comprehensive campaigns, including multi-media content and thoughtware, digital and social activations, event and sponsorship activities, PR and media relations and internal communications

  • To coordinate and manage operational activities effectively and efficiently, with exceptional attention to detail, including reporting processes and documents, presentation materials and project plans

  • To build and manage processes using metrics and KPIs to measure campaign and activations success and to identify areas for opportunity and improvement

  • To develop relationships with our internal agency and other colleagues and resources across the firm to optimize the delivery of innovative and client-centric solutions

  • To champion story-telling techniques and effective communication vehicles to amplify our value proposition both internally and externally

The team:

This SMP role will be supporting the Audit & Assurance practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP and will report to the Marketing Leader, Cross-Audit Services. SMPs serve as trusted marketing and communications advisors to key business leaders and stakeholders, and are part of the Marketing & Communications team at Deloitte. Deloitte s Marketing & Communications team combines the power of Deloitte s brand with the most inspired marketing techniques to produce business results for our clients. From events to social media to digital strategy and execution, we elevate the Deloitte brand and strategic positioning, delivering a cohesive, consistent experience. The team brings together creative and technology skills, business insights, and industry best practices to develop innovative creative assets that engage our clients. It also executes with agility and measurable performance through best-in-class solutions, centralization of key information and operations, and optimization of data, tools, people and process.

Skills and Competencies:

  • High level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities; ability to manage multiple and complex priorities and work well under pressure

  • Experience developing and executing marketing programs, including digital and social media

  • Innovative, creative, curious mindset, willing to explore and champion new marketing and communication channels

  • Operational, executional mindset who can work at both strategic and tactical levels to deliver high-value communications results

  • Strong writing and editing skills and previous writing/editing experience in corporate marketing and/or communications

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Ability to work in a virtual environment with multiple priorities and key stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management



  • 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing and communications strategy and planning

  • Undergraduate degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing, Communication, English or a related business field

  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing and communications strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results

  • Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts
