About the Role:

As a product and solutions marketer specializing in executive content, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives aimed at elevating our executive engagement efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to develop compelling content to senior-level decision-makers with our prospects and customers to enable meaningful interactions, foster long-term relationships and drive business growth.

What You Will Do:

  1. Content Strategy Development

  2. Wo rk closely with internal teams (such as field marketing sales, account management and customer success) and to understand customer and program needs.

  3. Dev elop and execute comprehensive content strategies to support various executive engagement programs.

  4. Coll aborate cross-functionally to align and prioritize content strategy with business objectives and market trends.

  5. Cr eate compelling narratives and messaging frameworks targeted at decision makers.

  6. Content Creation :

  7. Deli ver impactful messaging that communicates the value proposition of Confluent Data Streaming Platform that addresses the challenges faced by technical and non-technical executive-level audiences.

  8. Prod uce high-quality downstream content assets such as whitepapers / ebooks, case studies, executive briefings, presentations, videos, and blog posts.

  9. Ad apt content for various channels, including webinars, social media, email campaigns, and executive events.

  10. Co ordinate localization/translation workflows with internal and external teams globally

  11. Evangelism

  12. S upport sales enablement efforts by providing executive-facing materials and resources that facilitate meaningful conversations and drive business outcomes.

  13. Tra in and prepare presenters and leadership to showcase the value and uniqueness of our company vision, strategy and platform value proposition.

  14. De liver presentations at relevant events, conferences and seminars with confidence, energy and professionalism.

  15. R epresent the work internally at marketing all-hands meetings, QBRs, and other leadership-facing forums to share and discuss priorities, insights and updates.

  16. P erformance Measurement and Optimization

  17. Tr ack and analyze the performance of executive engagement content, leveraging data insights to refine strategies and enhance effectiveness.

  18. Es tablish KPIs to evaluate the impact of content on executive engagement metrics, such as engagement rates, pipeline velocity and customer retention.

  19. Continuously optimize content based on feedback, market dynamics, and emerging trends to maximize ROI and drive business growth.

What You Will Bring:

  • 7+ years experience in product and solutions marketing or related field; MBA or Advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on executive engagement, content marketing, or strategic communications.

  • Deep understanding of executive audiences, their pain points, and decision-making processes.

  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editorial skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

  • Experience elevating messaging and marketing of deeply technical products.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to present complex technical ideas in a simple, straightforward manner.

  • Strong project management abilities, capable of managing multiple initiatives projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across functions.

  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work autonomously in an ambiguous environment.

  • Ability to think strategically, with exceptional attention to detail in execution.

What Gives You an Edge:

  • Experience with data infrastructure or B2B Enterprise tech

  • Experience as a content writer, working in tech journalism or tech media agencies

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of USD $170,800 - $200,700, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
