Chewy Sr Product Manager (Pet Health - AI) in Boston, Massachusetts
Chewy is looking for an experienced Sr Product Manager (Pet Health, AI) to define and execute the product strategy for Chewy’s Pet Health business with our team based in Boston, MA.\u0026amp;nbsp; As a product leader, you will define, develop, and create a clear vision for AI features that align with Chewy’s Pet Health business.\u0026amp;nbsp; As an owner, you will create the North Star vision and develop both a short-term and long-term roadmap. This will include owning build vs buy decisions, identifying strategic partnerships, and accelerating time by building new capabilities/expansion opportunities while ensuring we continue to raise the bar for our customers. You will work cross-functionally across Product, UXD/UXR, Technology, Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Service, Operations, and Executive teams to create and build support for a shared product vision. You will also serve as a key customer advocate, ensuring the voice of the customer is embedded in key business decisions. This high-profile role will be pivotal in defining the next level of customer experience for Pet Health across all routes to market and has enormous opportunity for business impact.
What You\u0026#39;ll Do:
Own End-to-End AI product roadmap and customer experience within the Pet Health vertical.
Think strategically and long-term; acquire a deep understanding of the pet health industry and be the subject matter expert (SME) for vertical you will own.
Understand the key features and functionality of the Chewy’s digital customer experience (across all of Pet Health), make build vs buy decisions, identify opportunities for optimization, new feature development, strategic partnerships and innovate on behalf of the customer.
Set the product strategy, prioritize features, build consensus, and coordinate feature releases and internal/external communications.
This is a heavy data driven effort, as such you need to be laser focused on the entire ecosystem of data to support customers, including understanding customer behavior/needs as well as business objectives; enable the team to transform that knowledge into product enhancements and new features.
Demonstrated ability delivering world-class UI.
Write detailed requirements and use cases/user stories and communicate them effectively with business stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with UX Design team on primary/customer research, ensuring new features meet customer and business needs
Work closely with key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the vision aligns with broader company objectives
Monitor performance of the team’s initiatives and measure impact of product enhancements
What You\u0026#39;ll Need:
5+ years of progressive experience in product management with an emphasis on AI
Demonstrated ability to deliver results, innovate on the bleeding edge of technology, and manage a North Star vision, while executing on the minimal lovable product (MLP)
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a high degree of ownership, customer obsession, accelerate time, highly efficient in making data driven decisions, think big, innovate on behalf of the customer see around corners, and can think through complex systems design solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to influence Chewy’s executive team.
Experience developing short and long-term product strategy, defining detailed product requirements, prioritizing product roadmap, building and leading cross-functional teams, and working at a fast pace to deliver results.
Strong product management skills with demonstrated complex product launches, high attention to detail and situational fluency, ability to influence and motivate others, and perseverance to handle challenging business situations and make trade-offs at all levels of management
Experience working in an agile software development environment leveraging Scrum; track record of building productive relationships with engineering leadership
Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field, or equivalent experience.
