We are seeking a data-driven product marketer to support CBRE’s product launches and go to market initiatives for existing products & technologies. You’ll be responsible for elevating CBRE’s technology product positioning, value proposition, sales enablement efforts, and go-to-market strategies. This role is strongly cross-functional and the person in this role will work in collaboration with CBRE’s Digital & Technology, Marketing and Sales teams (among others). The person must have a passion for marketing digital and technology powered products that blend seamlessly with customer workflows. S/he must possess expertise to perform market analysis backed by data, great communication skills, and an eye for design and details. The individual in this position will be a senior voice and contribute at a very high-level but must also be comfortable rolling up his/her sleeves to manage the details. As a data-driven & commercially aware marketer, s/he will be expected to monitor and analyze key business metrics, and take appropriate strategic action based upon findings.


Develop product positioning and messaging across CBRE’s technology product offerings that resonates with target buyer personas; Deeply understand the role of how technology enables client outcomes in order to optimize the value proposition, messaging & go-to-market (GTM) plans.

Be a central source of technology product knowledge and use that knowledge to develop and deliver compelling a library of sales and marketing materials / assets.

Collaborating with our segment product marketing leads, develop GTM plans, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.

Manage and improve the overall Product Marketing function

Gather and continuously refine Market intelligence for internal and external consumption

Be the expert on competitor offerings and their pricing and positioning plans

Influence sales and marketing processes based on our customer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make.

Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.

Develop and manage an authentic GTM strategy for how we tell the higher level CBRE technology story (aimed at industry/press/prospective employees) that incorporates thought leadership for the products externally, including speaking engagements and written works on Social Media, Blog posts, etc.

Support our sales channels and train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users.


Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.


The individual must be highly entrepreneurial and a strategic thinker who can solve today’s issues as well as build processes for growth. The individual will need to be hands-on and work closely with all levels in the company, including senior management. The person needs to have:

Ability to motivate and influence w/out authority in order to accomplish goals

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or marketing; MBA preferred

Strong communication skills

Articulate, strategic and pragmatic problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top leadership and/or public groups

Self-motivated, smart and quick to learn and adapt as necessary


5-7+ years of product marketing experience

Experience with lead generation models & sales enablement / sales qualification processes (implementation & management) preferred




Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.


Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.


Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.


Requires knowledge of all software used by personnel in the department


Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
