Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on sourcing leader to build, coach and mentor a sourcing team connecting talent to Autodesk’s highest priority technical roles. You will partner with business leaders to understand the organization’s talent needs and develop sourcing strategies to help our business become a more future-proof, talent-ready organization. Our ability to attract technical talent is critical in establishing Autodesk as the industry-leading platform for design and make.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute technical sourcing strategies designed to impact Autodesk’s current and future hiring of outstanding technical talent

  • Engage multiple channels including direct outreach, referral generation, sourcing campaigns, talent branding efforts and other creative channels to drive technical talent to Autodesk

  • Establish best practices for team’s use of our CRM (Beamery) to build, track and engage candidate pools for future Autodesk technical hiring. Candidate pools include passive candidate leads, diversity partner event leads, candidate leads that progress in searches and aren’t hired and referrals

  • Utilize data and metrics to continuously improve our sourcing strategy and approach and to analyze impact

  • Open to experimenting; fail quickly, learn and adapt with the goal of getting to better processes, strategies and tools to optimize results

  • Conduct talent mapping and have deep knowledge of the talent and competitor landscape and a strong understanding of the market to enhance our sourcing strategies and provide market intel to our business

  • Provide strong partnership to hiring managers and Talent Acquisition teammates to develop and adapt sourcing strategies and processes to deliver on strategic business hiring priorities

  • Contribute to stakeholder QBRs to review key talent sourcing and hiring metrics, trends and progress against hiring initiatives

  • Recruit, manage and develop a team of high performing Technical Talent Scouts

  • Build Talent Scout capability and create a strong sense of team unity and engagement

  • Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress

  • Train Scouts to lead inclusive sessions with hiring managers to provide market insights and foster shared responsibility for engaging talent

  • Periodically lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to Talent Acquisition

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record of building, implementing, and driving sourcing strategies for roles such as cloud-based technologies, SW development, data engineering, AI, machine learning and data scientist roles to name a few

  • Passion for developing, coaching and leading people

  • Minimum 5+ years people management experience leading technical recruiting teams (including recruiters and talent scouts both FTE and contract)

  • Track record of success leading a technical sourcing function to positively impact hiring objectives.

  • Ability to build meaningful partnerships with leaders at all levels

  • Experience working in organizations that have undergone significant growth, change and/or international expansion

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including a strong business acumen and an ability to cultivate and manage effective relationships with a wide range of individuals across the organization

  • Rich professional demeanor using good judgment, maturity, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • Fluent in the development/use of metrics/data to tell the talent story - analytics skills

  • Flexible and adaptable to a fast-changing and developing environment

  • Demonstrated knowledge and comfort with technology and its use to support sourcing functions including applicant tracking software experience (Workday), CRM (Beamery), Talent Market Insights, etc.
