Overview of Position

The newly created Senior Manager, eCommerce Experience position is responsible for managing Digital Sales’ Go to Market activities and special initiatives to create best in class eCommerce experiences for Change Healthcare’s internal users (e.g., Sales and Account Management) and for external customers. This role is responsible for growing online sales and for partnering and collaborating with cross-department leaders to ensure customers’ superior experience purchasing APIs, Software, Hardware, and Services from Change Healthcare online marketplaces. The Senior Manager is responsible for building a user-friendly, engaging, and optimal online selling & purchasing customer experience while also creating an effective and efficient back-office infrastructure to support quickly growing online business. This position drives innovation, strategy, and high-level requirements for process automation and integration between e-Commerce, internal systems, and third-party applications to grow and scale online revenues. This role is a key stakeholder and a critical contributor in launching new products and enhancements to Change Healthcare’s digital ecosystem. This position will lead teams and initiatives in collaboration with other Product and Technology Leaders and will be responsible for successful rollout and adoption of key transformational and digital capabilities related to growing the eCommerce sales channel. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Drive innovation and lead experience and process enhancements to grow sales and to optimize and simplify online selling and customer purchasing journeys.

  • Work closely with technology, sales, marketing, and UX leaders to build out eCommerce capabilities and enhance Marketplace experience, functionality, and content.

  • Work with applicable teams to define success metrics for eCommerce Experience, recap and share reporting results with all stakeholders.

  • Drive strategy, planning, and high-level requirements for process automation and integration between e-Commerce, internal systems (ERP, CRM, Billing, Reporting) and third-party applications.

  • Build and lead a team to support rapidly growing needs in supporting and improving eCommerce experience. The team will provide internal and external customers best in class support with service offerings, tools, process improvement, process automation, and cross-system integration.

  • Set direction on the consistency and quality of work across a wide scope of initiatives. Provide stakeholder acceptance on delivered eCommerce capabilities and be the voice of customer.

  • Lead root cause analysis for foundational and transformational business problems and identify solutions and enhancements to improve current and future states.

  • Audit ecommerce capabilities and customer journeys on a regular basis to identify opportunities for potential improvements and enhancements to ensure best-in-class practices and experiences.

  • Lead key strategic initiatives from initiation through completion. Engage with other senior leaders and stakeholders on regular basis. Ensure that efforts meet their objectives.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 5+ years’ experience leading and managing teams responsible for customer facing digital products or services.

  • 7+ years’ experience managing projects or cross-functional teams preferably with strong knowledge of Agile project management and associated tools, best practices, and methodologies.

  • Demonstrated thought leadership at a technology or an eCommerce company

  • Product management experience

  • Prior experience working with digital services or ecommerce platforms.

  • Leadership/management experience guiding and developing others through periods of change preferred.

  • Adept at strategic thinking and translating strategy into actional plans.

  • Professional and effective communication skills required including presenting in front of a larger group, comfort with conversations at a leadership level, and ability to create clarity and improve collaboration at all levels within complex and diverse organizations.

  • Ability to track market trends, understand competition, size market opportunities, perform forecasting and demand analysis.

How much should I expect to travel?

Occasional travel, up to 25%, may be required between office locations.
