Sr Manager Digital Strategy

The Digital Strategy & Enablement team is responsible for a) provide digital thought leadership to inform our business strategies b) incubate digital and analytical offerings c) drive governance and execution.

As Strategy Manager – you will be responsible for will be actively sought to solve highly ambiguous and complex problems at the intersection of business and technology. You are adept at understanding emerging technologies and how they fundamentally alter the business dynamics.Specifically, you will keep track of the overall landscape of technology driven innovations relevant to the commercial real-estate portfolio including tracking competitors

Business Strategy Manager is responsible for building a world class market intelligence, strategic planning, opportunity assessment & validation system to guide investments that will both drive business growth and overall impact. Based on this system the Business Strategy Manager will be responsible for co-creating the long-range plan in close orchestration with business partners. The Business Strategy Manager will be accountable for driving cross-company LRP alignment in close partnership with the TSI VP and will ensure all plans feed into the bi-annual execution planning process.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

-Use strong conceptual and analytical skills to generate insights and recommendations.

-Work with stakeholders across the organization to optimize portfolio metrics and KPIs that support delivery of innovation strategy, refining as business needs evolve.

-Excellent communication skills to engage and influence senior leaders.

-Makes things happen, takes accountability, drives decision making and focus.

-Partner with cross-functional team and evangelize vision with key business stakeholders and executive leadership to drive alignment

-Drive creative solutioning by assessing internal /external capabilities and considering build vs buy vs assemble considerations

-Expect to distribute your time across:

-Market facing (30%) – Keeping abreast of emerging tech and identifying disruptive capabilities.

-Strategy Definition (50%*): Define strategies and digital solutions, develop business cases & roadmap for opportunities tapping into emerging tech capabilities and integrating them across the businesses.

-Solution Delivery (20%*): Manage and drive global cross-functional coordination for the selected programs implemented in the innovation pipeline.

Job Specifications

  • Multi-disciplinary – Engineering / Software degree /experience plus MBA

  • 5+ years of applied, relevant experience in Strategy consulting, Technology Consulting and/or business transformation

  • Strong storytelling and communication skills to evangelize their vision at all levels. Proven ability to communicate complex, technical information in easily understood manner.

  • Quick learner, high tolerance to ambiguity, Self-driven, hustler who can push through organizational barriers

  • Technology savvy with a passion for emerging technologies and how they can be applied to solving real problems

  • Acumen for building relationships with peers, business partners and the external world.

  • High level of business acumen. Knowledgeable in relevant policies and market trends, technology and information affecting the business and its competitive position.

  • Utilizes an entrepreneurial approach and develops innovative solutions.

  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, planning, database management/business intelligence and experience with analytic tools a plus

  • Ability to write business cases, process maps, presentation materials and articles using distinctive style.

  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics across various levels of leadership

  • Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment

Colorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Manager, Digital Strategy position is $150,000 annually plus bonus eligibility and the maximum salary for the Sr Manager, Digital Strategy position is $160,000 annually plus bonus eligibility. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
