Job Details

The Salesforce Customer Success Group is looking for a Sr. Digital Content Editor to join our Digital Content team. The Copy Editor will contribute to engaging content experiences that help Salesforce customers and employees get to know our success methods and products.

As Editor, you’ll work closely with versatile writers, instructional designers, and the content publishing team. In an agile development environment, you’ll edit copy with a focus on standards for a wide range of content, including UI copy, learning materials, videos, and presentations. You’ll edit our content to clearly describe sophisticated ideas in compelling language, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Become a technology expert, so you can easily communicate how it works and why it matters to a variety of audiences

  • Edit copy for our voice with special attention to technical accuracy and tone

  • Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Content Strategists, and Technical Writers to deliver high-quality, impactful content

  • Update existing content to meet our latest standards

  • Partner with publishing to inventory, coordinate, and post content with our content management tools

  • Review content analytics and understand how to apply customer trends to future content

  • Optimally prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in technical or brand copy editing role

  • BA/BS or equivalent

  • Detailed understanding of the fundamentals of Salesforce technology and customer challenges

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

  • A self-starter who is skilled at prioritizing, multitasking, and performing effectively

  • A passion for new technologies and functionality and a desire to engage with the capabilities of existing technologies
