Salesforce Financial Services Industry Advisors & Product Insights team helps to deliver Industry expertise to our Global Financial Services customers. Our customers rely on our ability to provide world class expertise and innovative methodologies to understand and deliver on their business goals. We are looking for a proven leader to help develop our global strategy and plan, drive cross team initiatives to support key strategic priorities, and support the day to day execution of the broader team.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with strong project management, verbal/written communication, and executive presentation skills to take on the role of the Director, Industry Advisor Programs, in the Office of the Financial Services CRO.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Financial Services Industry Advisors & Product Insights, you will help create a broader operational framework to bring together all Financial Services Stakeholders into a cohesive and integrated team.
The leader will also help drive the creation of the Global Program for Voice of the Customer, engaging with our Product organization to align and prioritize.
The ideal candidate is a broad-based business and technology professional with 10+ years of global program/project management and/or management consulting experience.
Leadership Strategy Planning and Execution
Help actively drive the business strategy (e.g. V2MOM) - inclusive of architecting and updating the V2MOM, and managing progress against
Create strategy decks, roadmaps, operational dashboards, and detailed analysis to identify trends and opportunities across the global business
Help define and execute key strategic programs which accelerate cross team collaboration and customer value and growth
Help optimize business processes across teams to ensure operational efficiencies and full alignment
Executive Level Program Management and Communications
Track, prioritize, and manage multiple initiatives and ad-hoc projects
Perform program updates and status reporting
Design and build executive level presentations
Lead regular reviews to deep dive on special topics
Help with regular cross team business updates
Develop, execute, and manage departmental communications
Help plan and manage executive summits (objectives, agendas, logistics, etc.)
Experience / Skills Required:
10+ Years Program Execution, Consultant and Program, Financial Services Industry preferred
10+ Years Leading global programs and change management
At least 5 Years leading a team in People Leader role
Experience driving and influencing highly matrixed organization
Highly organized, with ability to coordinate activities of senior leaders to drive alignment and attain goals
Skilled in collaboration and diplomacy to ensure smooth working relationships across matrixed teams
Experienced in presenting to and collaborating with Senior Executives
Ability to operate at both a strategic and a tactical, roll up your sleeves, level
Proactive problem-solver, able to stay one step ahead
Proven success building strong relationships with all levels of an organization
Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
Ability to quickly grasp and clearly explain complex technology and business concepts
