Senior Director Product Strategy & Innovation, Pharmacy
Overview of Position
The Sr Director, Strategic Products & Innovation will ensure Pharmacy Business Unit delivers a competitive, innovative, and comprehensive product portfolio to the Healthcare IT market that maximizes Pharmacy Business Unit resources and contributes to the business results and strategic plan of the organization predominately leveraging CHNG solutions & capabilities. The Sr Director, Strategic Products & Innovation will identify market opportunities and business development prospects, define strategic cross business unit product visions and goals, align with other Pharmacy Business Unit business units, and drive cross functional product roadmap deliverables across the organization to ensure the business executes against key success metrics, including financial targets.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Lead Rx BU assessment of CHNG capabilities for application against the business and market needs of our primary customers (retail pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Manufacturers) & select & bring products to market with the leadership team & product owners
Partner with other CHNG business units to align strategic goals and objectives and to identify joint business development opportunities and go-to-market approaches that drive value to CHNG & Rx Business Unit
Drive leadership in the strategic project planning, designing and implementing of innovative business solutions by defining vision, strategies, and tactics to address market shifts in order to optimize Pharmacy Business Unit’s competitive position. Ensure investments and major initiatives incorporate broader strategic considerations.
Lead annual 3-year long range planning (LRP) efforts for EIS. Partner with executive leadership team, financial planning organization, and corporate strategy team to develop and prioritize new organizational strategic goals and refine/expand/close existing strategies to meet business and financial targets.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
Greater than 5 years in retail pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturer or PBM experience
4-year Bachelors Degree, Pharmacist preferred.

Able to effectively navigate within a matrixed corporate structure.
Strong working knowledge of business financial practices, accounting, and business case development and analysis and ability to manage to a P&L.
Understanding and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the healthcare industry, financial, and software development field
Experience directing and managing large complex projects and experience supervising and/or leading other professional level staff
Thorough knowledge of long-range and operational planning techniques
