Michael Page International Inc. Sr Dir of Program Management - Late Stage Drug Dev - REMOTE in Boston, Massachusetts


  • Support the management of cross-functional program and sub-teams that will include representatives from research, clinical, nonclinical, regulatory, CMC, to create and execute integrated strategic development plans.

  • Coordinate and drive the planning activities for the cross-functional program team, including milestone setting, budget forecasting, resource planning, scenario planning, and developing an integrated program plan based off of cross-functional inputs and assumptions.

  • Provide strategic guidance to 'pressure-test' program team's assumptions, drive scenario planning / trade off analysis, and cross-functional planning into the overall integrated program plan.

  • Deliver consistent and high-quality project management services to enable team and program success by being strategic in program planning, team management and process management.

  • Manage team meeting operations such as planning agendas, scheduling meetings, meeting facilitation, preparing minutes, and proactively following-up with team members on action items.

  • Partner with Team Leader to ensure effective and timely communication to team members and senior management regarding program deliverables, key milestones, achievement of external and internal commitments, timelines, budgets, and key events.

  • Lead team to prepare and implement cross functional program risk management plans including, risk and opportunity identification and assessment, mitigation strategies and contingency planning.

  • Create a culture of high performing teams with clear accountabilities, robust scientific debate, and respectful interactions that foster trust.

  • Identify learnings and opportunities for synergies across the portfolio.

  • BS degree minimum in a relevant scientific discipline, with higher level degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of biotech/pharma experience, 8 of which should be in managing cross-functional teams (small molecule development and oncology experience is highly desirable).

  • Thorough understanding of drug development at all stages across research and development.

  • Leadership skills to be effective in a matrixed organization with geographically dispersed teams.

  • Proven track record of planning and managing complex programs in different phases of development including cross-functional deliverables across Research, Clinical Development, CMC, Commercial, and Market Access.

  • Experience managing or mentoring junior level Program Managers.

  • Exceptional listening, speaking, and writing skills.

  • High level of attention to detail.

  • Base Salary Range $ 200,000 - $275,000

  • Bonus Target 20% of Base Salary
