CTP Social Media & Content Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts

Do you live, breathe, devour all things social? If so, you might be who we've been looking for. Someone who embracers creative, strategy, and the virtues of Reels vs. Tik Tok, you name it. Someone who has grown and nurtured online communities for clients of every sort. Our dream candidate knows the ins and outs of all social channels, can develop end-to-end strategies and then execute in ways that engage audiences, drive participation and ultimately grow following. This candidate must understand how social platforms fit within a digital marketing mix, including blogs, SEO and influencer marketing. And boast an off the charts ability to communicate. This position will be part of our integrated, cross-channel team, working hand in hand with our PR, Creative Content and Media teams, and requires a passion for delivering results while uncovering and implementing the latest tools and technologies that can be leveraged for our clients.

Ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience managing social media programs within an agency or on the client side.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional social media experience planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting

  • Excellent writing and editing experience for marketing, external and social media communication

  • Proficient with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram), social media schedulers (like SproutSocial), social listening tools (like TalkWalker) and design software (like Canva)

  • A portfolio of relevant work that demonstrates an engaging writing style, a solid command of language and adaptability between brands, and an understanding of the interplay between visual and written content

  • C reative thinker who is able to produce materials that are unique, appropriate, and memorable

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail and timelines

  • Creative problem solving skills, reasoning ability, and logical thought process

  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and meet various deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to professionally interact and collaborate with colleagues at all levels

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and positive attitude with an outstanding sense of client service

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a relevant field, such as Marketing, Journalism, English, or Communications

  • Experience with consumer and B2B audiences

    Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for creating consistent, meaningful content that can help to build and engage with communities on behalf of our clients, creating spaces for conversations and helping relationships to grow

  • Work with clients to develop approaches that align with opportunities presented by and related to their overall direction.

  • Engage with communities to generate participation and ultimately grow each client’s presence on social media channels, including (but not limited to) Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

  • Write, edit, publish and share engaging content daily, using SEO best practices for added impact

  • Create simple graphics, videos and digital content to enhance posts

  • Develop and maintain content calendars, including the creation of campaigns around high impact events and opportunities

  • Stay up to date on new technology, trends and input best ways to utilize them

  • Conduct trainings for marketing team on best practices for social media

  • Contribute to the agency’s new business initiatives
