We’re looking for an outstanding SVP, Media Investment (eCommerce) —someone who can win the hearts of clients, inspire their teammates, and skillfully juggle multiple pieces of business. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced eCommerce media expert to drive outcomes for some of the largest brands on the planet.

What you’ll do:

The SVP, eCommerce will lead our growing cross-channel eCommerce media practice. In this role, you will be responsible for developing our agency’s unique position within the commerce media landscape, as well as defining standards and best practices to deliver innovative and flawless campaigns.

Day to day, your role includes:

  • Build our growing eCommerce team in terms of thought leadership and best practices, as well as the planning and activation of campaigns across retail commerce space, including: Amazon (search and display), Walmart Media Group, Kroger, Target Roundel, and retail networks such as Criteo

  • Interpret client needs, and develop strategic solutions that address the needs and goals for their business; a portion of this role’s time will be dedicated to existing eCommerce clients

  • Partner closely with Search, Precision, and Paid Social counterparts to ensure commerce plans fit within overall go-to-market approach

  • Key lead for client conversations, acts as bridge between media and shopper team for streamlining omni-channel strategies with key retail partners

  • Responsible for presenting strategic recommendations, soliciting feedback and ensuring team is able to execute on strategy to effectively hit client goals

  • Manage, optimize, and expand programs for all performance marketing channels to maximize the sales and strategic KPIs (new customer acquisition, lifetime value, etc.)

  • Partner with agency leads across Creative, Technology, and Strategy to deliver connected commerce plans to our clients and develop industry-leading solutions for the agency

  • Serve as liaison to Publicis Media Commerce practice to ensure we are bringing best in class tools and solutions to our clients

  • Support in any new business pitches and related work as required

  • Be a leader through strength and stability -- functioning as a point of escalation for clients and team members as needed

Qualifications

We’re looking for an exceptional media leader, which typically includes:

  • 15+ years of media planning and buying experience, with at least 5 years in digital commerce role. A background in shopper marketing and in-depth knowledge of the retail commerce landscape is critical

  • Strong command of commerce platforms, syndicated research tools, and reporting resources such as Amazon, Walmart Media Group, and Roundel

  • Deep relationships in the commerce industry, including with publishers, tech platforms, and brand teams

  • 10+ years of people managing experience, overseeing five or more reports in an account management/client services team

  • Excellent negotiation skills and understanding of how to add incremental value and communicate that to our clients

  • Strong communication and writing skills—you’re poised, precise, and above all, kind when engaging with other

  • Able to package, merchandise, and sell in concepts and new opportunities

  • Strategic thinking and able to see the bigger picture

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting
